A notice to all families,

Several sports will be implementing changes to their age divisions from 2026. Please be aware of the following updates.

Australian Football
The representative school sport pathway will move to 14 years and under for both boys and girls.
A one-off 15 years championship will be conducted to support students who missed the opportunity to represent their association due to this change. Further details will be provided once confirmed.
The Statewide Knockout competition will now be 16 years and under.

Rugby League
The representative school sport pathway will now include 16 years and under boys and girls, and 18 years and under boys and girls.

Touch Football
The 15 years and under trials will now be conducted as a one-day trial. Details regarding the date and location are still to be confirmed.

Lower North Coast Swimming is coming up on Friday 27th February and will be held at Kempsey's McElhone Swimming complex. 🏊‍♀️🏊
Make sure you compete at your school carnival for a chance to represent your school and be considered for the LNC event. 🧜🧜‍♀️
School carnivals are early in term 1 so all details can be passed on for entries, so make sure you keep an eye out and give your best at your school carnival 💪🥳

LNC Boys and Girls Basketball trials are coming up on Thursday 19th February.

Please keep an eye and ear out at your school and see your sports coordinator for more details about how to represent your school and be considered for LNC team selection.

North Coast Tennis Trials will take place next Friday, 6 February 2026.
If you have students wishing to trial, please see your sports coordinator at school to ensure that they are registered.

Event Details
Date: Friday 6 February 2026
Venue: Grafton Tennis Centre, Fisher Park
202 Prince Street, Grafton

The venue will open at 7:30am and courts will be available for player warm-up.

A Pro Shop will be open for the purchase of drinks, and stringing services will also be available.
Please note there will be no canteen, so players should bring their own food and drinks.

Cost: $15.00 per player

Selected players will go on to represent the North Coast at the NSWCHS Championships in Wollongong from 23–27 February 2026.
Please note:
The top 32 boys and top 32 girls will be required on Thursday afternoon.
The top 16 boys and top 16 girls will also be required to attend on Friday, 27 February 2026.

Lower North Coast senior girls beach volleyball team (from Kempsey High School) have made the grand final at the CHS Beach Volleyball state championships.

Congratulations to the Kempsey High School senior girls (playing for LNC) who defeated Tweed River HS 2 sets to 1 in the North Coast beach volleyball grand final.
