Breaking Barriers 🏋🏼♀️
What a turnout for our Breaking Barriers Women’s Lifting Workshop, held at Jetts Nowra
I am so honoured to have created a space for these women to learn, ask questions, build confidence, and challenge some of the misconceptions that so many women have been taught about lifting weights.
We discussed strength training, bone health, muscle mass, ageing, and why lifting weights is one of the most powerful things women can do for their long-term health. More importantly, we opened up conversations, shared experiences, and hopefully removed a little of the fear that can come with stepping into the weights area.
Spending the morning with so many women who were keen to learn, ask questions, and better understand their bodies was something pretty special.
Thank you to every woman who came along and contributed to the discussion. I hope you left with a better understanding of why strength training matters and feeling a little more confident walking into the gym 🧡💪🏽
