The Northcote Water Polo Club (NWPC) is passionate about providing an inclusive club environment for anyone that wants to play water polo.

The La Krakens (combined SL5 with .waterpolo ) had a great outing earlier on in the month, coming second overall🥈! Falling short to a very strong and deserving Geelong team.

With summer just around the corner, here’s a throwback to this years TRI-STATE comp hosted by the !

We had 4 teams involved and had an EXCELLENT time! Keen for the comps to come over these warmer months :)

Peter Gyorgyicsek’s Junior Strength and Conditioning Program was a real highlight for its participants this term. 🏋️‍♀️💪🏋️

Over 6 sessions, Peter gave valuable lessons on understanding the body’s energy systems, injury prevention and the importance of recovery- all tailored for the participants age groups including strength training, flexibility and learning age appropriate routines.

Our girls come and try last Sunday the 14th of September was a success with 13 participants hopping in the pool! NWPC is really keen to engage with more girls interested in playing Water Polo going forth!

WINTER RECAP #2 🤽‍♀️🤽‍♂️🏆

Our u12s finished the winter season off with a solid win and smiles all round. We’re particularly proud of this team’s immense growth across the past year.

Excited to see some of these faces move up to u14s and others step up to lead the next generation!

Our u16 girls finished second at the end of the 6 week term 3 winter comp! We’re super grateful for having been able to combine with and send also a particular shoutout to the girls from for making the long trip down to play with us every week!

We’re super grateful to have had the opportunity to play during the coldest months 🥶 and continue to grow positive connections amongst clubs!
