What a finish to a big day of Scotch Doubles!
Congratulations to Mike Dogan & Omid Neshadi, our Diamond League FairMatch Scotch Doubles Champions, after defeating Colin Peak & Greg Sumner in a hill-hill final.
And what a way to seal it…
With the championship on the line, Mike Dogan produced a glorious extraction (Hemsworth) to get out and secure the title! 🎱🔥

Commiserations to Colin Peak & Greg Sumner, who played stellar pool all day and did a fantastic job representing the Hunter League. A great run through the tournament and a final that went right down to the wire.
🎱 PLENTY OF POOL!
Due to popular demand from the players, we adjusted the format to Double Elimination through to the Semi Finals.
From a value perspective, everyone certainly got their money’s worth! 😅
It made the event a bit of a grind, but the players enjoyed plenty of quality table time and we saw some great pool throughout the day.
And that’s one of the things we love about Doubles events.
They’re highly competitive and everyone wants to win, but there’s also plenty of fun, banter and camaraderie along the way. The overall vibe was friendly, social and competitive — exactly what we want from these events.

Judging by the feedback from the players, we think so!
A huge thank you to all 20 teams who competed and supported the tournament.
We’ll definitely be looking at another Doubles / Pairs event in the future — and we already have a few ideas up our sleeve. 😉
