Friday was funday we got the little red wagon up on a hoist and replaced the cut rear brake line for a complete second hand one we plumbed it up and had a look
At what else would likely be required for a roady made a list and we are heading back to complete more work which will be posted as done

Caramel wheeled off the red lines and removed the glue with a razor blade doors now ready for dismantle and prep

Now it runs we pulled it outside and hoses the barn dust that was turning the little red wagon to a brown wagon

Car parts lunch stop at the track (well put the front) as I was driving past anyway

So we are at a standstill new head gasket fitted and toqued down
set up valves
some new intake/exhaust,valley cover and side inspection plate gaskets and then the spark plugs I bought from the only auto store open today don’t work in the head.
Sooo we will have to wait til the morning grab some new spark plugs attach some piping and try kick it in the guts and see what the old girl does? All going well we will make Sunday at mount beauty but it looks like Saturday is a no go for the car

So this is where we are at last Easter the car got hot and needed some panel work due to some staging lane miss hap and over zellos driving
The panel work and radiator relocation to the back seat was Completed with help from some good mates a comp test was done and we knew it was running low possibly due to a blown/leaking head gasket but it still started and was driving around fine
Then a couple of weeks ago I left a spark plug lead off the day before a local car show I was intending on attending while mock fitting a fuel pressure regulator bracket upon starting the car the morning of the show it ran like a real pig I shut it down and noticed the lead off it restarted but was not happy so I didn’t take to the show just to be safe
Now it has developed a I don’t want to start and run issue so i figured I would pull it down and see what I find this is were we are at so far hope to get it all back together for the nomination at the Easter meet at mount beauty speedway
