Following our recent Annual General Meeting, we're excited to introduce the team who'll be helping lead our Club through another fantastic season.

Nippers is starting... and we need you! 💙💛

We're looking for Age Group Managers to join our Nippers team for the 2026/27 season.

If you've got experience working with children, love the beach, or simply feel like giving back to our community, we'd love to hear from you.

As an Age Group Manager, you'll work alongside an amazing group of passionate NSLSC volunteers while helping young people build confidence, learn lifesaving skills, and develop a lifelong connection to the beach.

What you'll be doing:

🌊 Season starts 31 October 2026
🕑 Sessions run 2pm–4pm every Saturday
📅 Season runs through to March (usually the weekend before Easter – TBC)

We'll provide everything you need to get started:
- all resources and equipment
- protective equipment and uniform
- support from an experienced and committed team.

Please note, a Working With Children Check (WWCC) is required.

By joining the team, you'll help:
- make a real difference in the lives of young people
- increase awareness and safety on our beaches
- support an integral volunteer emergency service in our community.

Planning a visit to the Club this weekend?

A quick heads-up for this weekend’s opening hours.

Our Club Kitchen remains temporarily closed, however we’d still love to see you on Saturday. Grab a meal from one of our fantastic local takeaway spots, bring it back to the Clubrooms, and enjoy it with one of the best views on the coast and a drink from the Bar.

This weekend’s opening hours:

* Friday – closed for a private function
* Saturday – Club Bar open from 12 noon
* Sunday – closed so our wonderful volunteers can spend Father’s Day with their families

Thank you for your understanding and continued support of our Club and local businesses.

A huge congratulations to Helen Bartlett from the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club on being selected as a mentee in Cohort 8 of the Surf Life Saving Australia Women’s Mentoring Program.

Helen is one of three South Australians taking part in this incredible 12-month leadership journey, alongside fellow mentee Matilda Perry (West Beach Surf Life Saving) and mentor Karen Wilmot (Goolwa Surf Life Saving Club).

The Women’s Mentoring Program brings together mentors and mentees from across Australia to build confidence, develop leadership skills and strengthen connections that help shape the future of Surf Life Saving.

Congratulations, Helen, we can’t wait to see where this opportunity takes you!

Welcoming Cohort 8 of the Women’s Mentoring Program!

Fifty women from every state and territory are embarking on a 12-month journey of leadership, learning and connection through the SLSA Women’s Mentoring Program.

With 25 mentors paired with 25 mentees, Cohort 8 will build confidence, leadership capability and networks that extend far beyond the program - helping shape the future of Surf Life Saving.

With more than 300 women having now participated in the program, the ripple effect of women supporting women continues to grow ❤️💛

A special welcome to Cohort 8, and thank you to our mentors, mentees, founders and sponsors for investing in the future of women in Surf Life Saving.

On behalf of everyone at the Normanville Surf Life Saving Club, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Mel Thorpe-Mason and her family on the passing of her husband, Brian.

Brian was a much-loved figure in the CFS and a dedicated volunteer who made a significant contribution to our community.

Through his unwavering support of Mel, who has been a valued volunteer at Normanville SLSC for many years, he was also very much part of our club community.

Brian will be greatly missed, and our thoughts are with Mel and her family during this difficult time. ❤️

You can settle in and enjoy our beautiful view whilst enjoying a beverage from our Bar.

🌊💛 I’m incredibly excited to introduce a new sponsorship for this financial year - Normanville Surf Life Saving Club! 💛🌊

This one is particularly special to me.

Normanville has always held a place close to my heart. Growing up, it was where we spent family holidays - days at the beach, time together and plenty of memories that have stayed with me over the years.
