ITS BACK............................CHIPPA'S HOT SPOT

Just to add a bit of excitement to this year's DMD Nhill Cup we will run again Chippa’s Hot Spot!

After each race there will be a spot prize for those that are located in the predetermined hot spots. Racegoers that find themselves in the hot spot will win a cash prize and be announced on race day by MC Jason ‘Chippa’ Gordon.

Will it be you on that hot spot??

The Luv-a-Duck Fashions on the Field is always a feature on Boxing Day….. now is the time to organise your race day outfit!

The Kelly Sports crew are back this year to deliver supervised kid’s activities at this year’s DMD Nhill Cup on Boxing Day.

Activities are for toddlers to teenagers, boys and girls. Kelly Sports encourage kids to get active, meet new friends and have a great day out at the races.

Oh, and did we mention… free merch packs for the kids….. um…. yes please 🙋🤩

📣 TWO weeks to go.......the countdown is on to the DMD Nhill Cup Boxing Day Races, Friday 26th December 2025.

We are so excited to welcome you to the Nhill Racecourse on Boxing Day! Race Day is shaping up to be wonderful this year, please take note of the following important information in preparation for the DMD Nhill Cup…..

🏇 Gates open at 12pm.
🚌 The town shuttle bus departs the Farmers Arms Hotel at 12pm & runs hourly until 3pm.
🏇The first race will be around 1.30pm.
🍽 Finns Fine Foods, Maggie's Pizza & Three Beans Coffee & Catering will keep you well fed on race day.
🥂 The on-course bar opens at 12pm.
🏇 TAB facilities are available on-course.
🏧 ATM facilities are available on-course.
💳 The gate and bar will have card payments available.
👗 Dress in your best for the Luv-a-Duck Fashions on the Field. There are some wonderful prizes up for grabs across categories.
🎄 Plenty of kid's activities including Kelly Sports Supervised Kid's Activities & Face Painting. There are FREE merch packs for the kids, available at the kid's activities area!
🎅 Slushies are back for the kids.
🏇 The last race will be around 5.30pm.
🎸 HeadRush will keep you entertained throughout race day and after the races.
🚌 The town shuttle bus returns to the Farmers Arms after the last race.
