I hope everyone has made it home safely and is now enjoying time with family and friends.
First and foremost, a huge thank you to our Team Manager Sharma for all the hard work and for keeping us well-fed throughout the tournament. Your dedication behind the scenes made a big difference! 🙌
To our Coach Lal, we truly appreciate your guidance, support, and motivation. To our Captains, thank you for your leadership, organization, and for guiding the team on the field—you did an incredible job! 👏
A special shoutout to all our players who put in time, effort, and energy during training. While the results may not have gone our way, please don’t be disheartened. This was a valuable learning experience and a stepping stone for the future. Imagine—our first time playing together, facing strong district and national representatives, and we still gave it our all. Some of our boys played in their first-ever tournament, and everyone performed admirably. Keep your heads high, and let’s keep improving! 💪
Beyond the game, we built great memories—we shared meals, bonded at camp, and created moments that we will always cherish. Most importantly, we made history as the first team from Newcastle to compete in Sydney, and that is something to be proud of! 🎉
A big thank you to all the players’ families for their sacrifices and support, and to our sponsors, without whom this trip would not have been possible. Viti Knights FC will be reaching out separately to express our gratitude.
Also, we are grateful that everyone returned home safely and without any major injuries—that in itself is a big win!

Additionally, please note that we will finalize our financials and present them to the team in our next meeting.

From here, it’s only upwards and onwards! Let’s continue to work together and take Viti Knights FC to even greater heights. Rest, recover, and we’ll see each other again for Sunday soccer soon!
