A good win to the NDGA against LNC over the weekend. Playing at Kew and Taree the NDGA won the Les Evitt Trophy 12-1/2 to 5-1/2 matches and the Junior Challenge Cup by 4-1/2 to 1-1/2 matches.in It was a close contest with many matches either halved or going to the 17th and 18th hole

Regional Champs
Newcastle DGA were the clear winners at the 2026 regionals held at Tuncurry GC and received the Jim Baker Shield.
Congratulations also to all the individual winners and to Shelly Beach GC for winning the Sandy Cameron Shield
