Can you believe it is August already and half way through term 3?!?!

I have been a little quiet on the socials for the last month or so and I think it’s an important issue to bring up.

Being a business owner is hard work! Sometimes it feels like everything and anything that can go wrong does and it all just builds up until it’s too much for you to handle. And that’s what happened. Between school holidays, multiple sicknesses and life to then juggle the busyness of term 3 starting and end of year preparations, it all just overwhelmed me.
I feel as business owners we put so much pressure on ourselves to do everything and be everything for everyone that we forget to remember we are just 1 person.
It’s okay if you need to say no to someone.
It’s okay to say I can’t do this right now.
It’s okay to do the bare minimum some days, weeks or even months
It’s okay to take a break and not work every second of every day.
And it’s more than okay to put yourself first!

The school holiday juggle is on!

Trying to be a mum, work on the studio, replying to all the emails, and take a break. I get it and I am right there with you!

It’s okay not to reply to that parent straight away, it’s okay to be present with your kids, it’s okay to not do anything if you don’t want to!

Embrace this time, delegate and automate what you can and just be in the moment!

Take that in!!!

Overdue invoices as they aren’t on direct debit
Missed follow-ups as there is no systems in place
Email inbox overflowing with unread emails as you don’t have the time or mental capacity to sit and reply
Too busy teaching to do all the things that keep your studio running or work on projects to help you grow

Sound familiar????
Think about how much money you could be loosing each week, each month or even the year! It could be thousands of dollars.

Hiring a VA and spending that money for them to come in and assist you with those day to day tasks or even just to get systems in place so everything is running on autopilot whilst might seem like a scary step and extra expense, what would it mean to you to get 5-10 hours a week back to work ON your business not IN it and have that extra money in your bank account by hiring them??!

The best thing about hiring a Virtual Assistant? They don’t need to be close to your studio as they can work from anywhere!!
I have worked with clients from Melbourne, Sunshine Coast, Western Australia, even some one from America once all while I live in the Hunter Valley NSW.

I totally understand that hiring some one virtually doesn’t always suit every studio, for most it can! And I do love getting out and visiting my NSW studios when I can and being involved in mid and end of year concerts too!

Running a dance studio (or any business) is not EASY! Don’t underestimate the physical and mental toll it takes on you to be doing all of the things.
