The Indoor Masters are here!
This is a brand-new concept in indoor cricket - full overseas tours for players who aren't playing international cricket, or don't want the intense competition, but love to travel, explore new places, have a great time, and play some good, tough indoor cricket along the way.
We are super-excited to announce our first tour, to beautiful Sri Lanka, in September of this year.
This sensational 16-day tour will include 10 games of indoor cricket, organised in close cooperation with Sri Lanka Indoor Cricket, plus heaps of sight-seeing - Sigiriya Rock, Kandy, Galle, etc. - and plenty of socialising.
The games will be played at the venue of the 2024 Masters World Series, an excellent indoor cricket centre in Colombo. All excursions, accommodation and transportation will be professionally arranged in conjunction with local operators.
The tour will be led by well-known former New Zealand Men's player David "Dinga" Bell.
The tour is open to all players over 35, but is primarily aimed at players who are not in New Zealand age group teams, as the tour does clash with the Trans-Tasman Masters series, which should be a priority for top players. The idea of the Indoor Masters is to give touring opportunities to more players across the country.
