This weekend we the Annual Ish*tobi-Ha Sh*to-ryu Shukokai Karate Union Oceania Gasshuku.

Including myself we had 7 members from Shogokan attend.

Training was tough, how it should be.

Emphasis was placed on kihon and attitude. Train with intent, commit fully to every action, and learn to switch “on” and “off” with purpose.

A massive thank you to Stephen Kelly Shihan, Head of The Union in Oceania, for being an outstanding host and for organising this wonderful Gasshuku.

Congratulations to everyone who graded, well deserved!

Promoted to Yondan (4th Dan) - Sensei Jack Felton

Promoted to Shodan (1st Dan) - Senpai Mario Tavone
