Today, there was a fire at the Narrabri Pool sheds, and unfortunately all of our equipment was damaged beyond repair.

We are incredibly grateful that no one was injured, but this is a heartbreaking setback for our club and everyone involved.

At this stage, we're working through our next steps with council and costs for replacement gear. Our committee will continue to work hard to get this season up and going just as planned, and will keep all our members updated as we learn more.

Congratulations Lachy Dunn on representing NSW at the U13 WPA National Development Tournament held in Hobart over the last week. His team secured 8 wins and 1 draw, playing some top quality water polo with, and against, some very talented young athletes, coming away with improved skills, technique and game play, and a whole bunch of new water polo friends. Keep up the good work Lach 💪

🏊‍♂️💪 AYC Brisbane 2026 💪🤽‍♂️

So proud of these Narrabri boys for representing at the Australian Youth Water Polo Championships in Brisbane over the last 2 weeks!

Lachy and Harry were lucky enough to draft to Mantas Brisbane in the U14s Green division and U12s Gold division. Jordy and Jacko played for Tamworth Waterpolo Association - such an achievement to get an U16s team together for nationals.

What an incredible experience competing against some of the best young talent from across the country, and internationally, at one of Australia’s biggest junior water polo events.
