Happy Father’s Day to all our amazing Hurricanes dads!

To the dads on the sidelines, driving to training, carrying the bags, cheering the loudest and always being there to support our players, today is for you!

We hope all our netball dads have a wonderful Father’s Day and get a little spoilt today.

Not the result we were hoping for today, with both our Bolts and Vortex going down in their Grand Finals, but we couldn’t be prouder of them.

Both teams gave it everything and should be so proud of the season they’ve had and how far they’ve come.

And seeing them all celebrating the end of their season together afterwards is what it’s really all about teammates, friendships and making memories together.

Two Grand Final teams in our very first season as a club is something pretty special. So proud of you all, Bolts and Vortex.

And a huge well done to our Inter 1 Storm and Inter 6 Blaze, who were both awarded the Sportsmanship Award for their divisions. Such a lovely way to finish the season and something we are very proud of as a club.

One of those moments that just gets you 🥰

With a time clash meaning their coach was playing her own Preliminary Final at the same time.

After the win, the girls ran straight over to her court to share the moment with her.

Such a beautiful moment and one that showed just how special the bond is between this team and their coach. 🩵💜🖤

Lauretta is the true definition of a Netty Legend, giving countless hours of her time, care and energy to support her club and community. 💙

From organising uniforms and fundraising events to trivia nights, Crazy Sock Day and important community awareness initiatives, Lauretta is always behind the scenes making things happen and bringing people together.

She’s also the go-to game day contact, always ready to lend a hand and support players, families and coaches whenever needed.

Her kindness, generosity and dedication have made a lasting impact on her club and the people around her! 🫶🏐

💙💜 PRELIM FINAL WRAP UP 💜💙

What a day for our Hurricanes, filled with so many emotions.

Our 11B Lightning and 12A Fury fought right to the end, but unfortunately their seasons came to a close in the Preliminary Finals. We couldn’t be prouder of these girls, not just for how they played, but for the friendships, teamwork and memories they’ve made along the way. What a wonderful season you’ve both had.

And we are so proud to say that in our very first season, the Hurricanes have TWO Grand Finalists!
