2027 Camden Netball Sub Committee Nominations NOW OPEN

Sub committee positions are available in the Coaching, Representative and Competitions areas of our Association. We are looking for people who can bring their knowledge, expertise and enthusiasm to these roles and make a valued contribution.

The Rep Committee assist the Rep Coordinators with rep activities, uniforms, equipment and carnival preparation.

The Coaching Committee assists the Coaching Coordinator in improving the standard of coaching within the Association. They help with planning, development and education of coaches.

The Competitions Committee assists the Competition Coordinator with the running of all Association competitions, including Winter and Summer competitions and carnivals. A working knowledge of the Play HQ programme would be beneficial.

Applications close on 21st September 2026 at 5 pm.

To all our netty dads, thanks for knowing our favourite Super Netball players name, cheering from the sidelines, driving us to training, celebrating every goal, providing the post-game analysis and supporting us every step of the way.

You might not always understand the umpire’s calls or coaches decisions… but you’ll always understand how to cheer us on 😂📣

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads and father figures in our netball community!

🔥 Are you ready for Saturday?!

Here are a few must-knows to keep things running smoothly on Saturday.

✅ Player Sign-On
• All players sign the scoreboard in full – no ticks or initials.
• This is the official record checked by competition officials.

✅ Scorers Sign-On
• Both scorers sign the board in the correct section.
• Both must write and agree on the final score before handing in.

✅ Officials at Every Game
• 2 scorers (1 from each team) + 1 timekeeper (from the first-named/home team).
• Officials must be capable, remain together all game, and not engage with players, coaches, or spectators.
• Only 1 designated person per team may approach scorers at breaks to check scores.
• Coaches are NOT to approach the scorers during the game.
• Games will not start or continue if these three officials are not present at all times during the game. No officials = No game.

✅ Timekeeper’s Role
• Record stoppages as communicated by the umpire, on a mobile and ensure scorers note them.
• At ¾ time, tell the umpires the extra time to be added to the 4th quarter.
• Advise the umpire when 15 seconds remain, and when extra time is complete.

✅ Drawn Games
• Extra time is played at the end of full time (including stoppage time).
• A C&DNA rep will be the official timer.
• 2 min break → two 5-min halves → if still drawn, play continues until 2-goal advantage.

✅ Scoreboards
• Umpires will bring scoreboards to the courts.
• The winning team is to return the scoreboard to control.
• Teams are still responsible for ensuring scoreboards are completed correctly.

✅ Spectators
• All spectators (including Club Committees) must stay in designated areas.
• No one is permitted on baselines. They will be moved on.
• For the safety of all - children should not be playing or running near courts during games.

🏆🏐 GRAND FINAL GAME DAY CHECKLIST 🏐🏆

The big dance is here! With temperatures expected to hit around 26°C on Saturday🔥 - make sure your body is ready to perform. 💪

💧 HYDRATE
Increase your water intake over the next few days and keep sipping water throughout the day.

🍌 EAT BREAKFAST
Start your game day with breakfast. Your body needs fuel to perform, so don’t skip it just because you’re nervous or excited!

🍝 FUEL UP
Eat regular, balanced meals and snacks in the lead-up to the game to keep your energy levels up.

☀️ BEAT THE HEAT
Stay in the shade, keep cool (as much as possible) and take every opportunity to recover.

😴 REST UP
Get a good night’s sleep on Friday. We know everyone will be excited but at least try to get to bed early! 😉

Bring the energy. Bring your A-game. 💙🏆

SEMI-FINAL LOCKED IN 🔐💙

Metro Team 2 has worked hard all year and have secured 4th position on the ladder! 👏

Now it’s time for the elimination final tomorrow night.

We need our Blue Army loud and proud – dust off the supporter shirts, pack the streamers and bring the energy to get us home!
