Nambucca Nippers

Nambucca Nippers In 1961, a group of locals set out to help children be safe in the surf, little did they know it would start the largest surf safety movement in Australia!

Nambucca Nippers continues its goals of helping young kids be safe while having fun every Summer.

This week is National Volunteers week, I would like to thank all of the Patrolling members of NHSLSC who give of their time to keep our beaches and rivers safe. As well as our Age Managers Luke, Emily, Jeremy and Nick as well as the Age Manager Assistants this season Sophia, Jade, Issy and Dusty.
Your contributions to the safe and fun running of Nippers should be celebrated.
We are holding an Age Manager thank you lunch this Sunday at the Bowling Club, all nipper families are welcome to come along for a bowl and to thank the age managers for their efforts each season.

Congratulations to Johnny and Emma.
This year’s NSW Junior Lifesaver of the Year winners.
A big thank you to SLSNSW and the co-ordinators for their time and effort supporting our next generation of Surf Lifesavers.
Issy had a great time and made a bunch of new friends from across the NSW branches. Issy back on Patrol this morning and happy to share stories from the camp.

// Another year in the books, with Surf Life Saving Far South Coast and Surf Life Saving Sydney the big winners!

Emma Dawson from Broulee Surfers Surf Life Saving Club and Jonathan Kodomichalos from Coogee SLSC are the 2026 NSW Junior Lifesavers of the year, after a whirlwind three days in Collaroy where they built new connections and developed their skills as lifesavers.

Congratulations to you both, and a further congratulations to all 22 Branch Junior Lifesavers of the Year on the part you all played in an incredible camp this year!
