Still one of my favourite photographs and situations to find oneself in, an early morning stroll on a bushland trail.

This stunning photo was supplied by a local Guyra farmer and illustrates the seamless transition along an old abandoned rail corridor, it's also another effective and proven way to control stock and trail users.

Design and consultation will ensure our community will benefit for all users.

These creeks are definitely worth a visit, with their fresh flowing water creating a tranquil atmosphere. Imagine if the council could enhance these areas, making them more accessible and enjoyable for everyone, while maintaining the heritage value of the old station sites. By creating safe spaces away from roads and vehicles, we can empower families to spend quality time together, exploring and appreciating nature.

First day of 2025 and my first ride to kick-start the new year with a rejuvenating break at Upper Burringbar. These couple of creeks are absolutely breathtaking and running pristine. I will have to treat myself to a refreshing splash at these spots on one of those scorching summer days. Wishing us all a phenomenal 2025 I’ve got a feeling we should prepare ourselves to seize the unexpected as we embark on the roller coaster of life.

If cyclists behaved like motorists, there would likely be a significant increase in accidents. I believe John Forester's assertion that this approach would be effective is misguided, as I find it hazardous enough to drive a car amidst motorists; therefore, John, I appreciate your efforts, but your lobbying has not improved cycling safety.

I observe graffiti on the walls descending from the tunnel, resembling a bomb, yet its meaning is ambiguous. This ambiguity is characteristic of most graffiti, which often prioritizes vandalism over artistic expression. Perhaps a time will come when those engaging in antisocial behavior will face consequences for their actions. In Vietnam, I inquired of a policeman why graffiti was relatively scarce, and he replied that they deterred it by imposing severe penalties, including physical harm, on perpetrators. While this approach may seem extreme, it appears to be effective.

Our electricity bills are through the roof, but hey, at least we're getting a rail trail repair out of it! Apparently, the land slip was a major concern for the powerline owners, who didn't want their cables slipping down the hill and causing a costly blackout. Looks like there's plenty of cash to go around when it comes to power generation and supply!

Michael Leunig's legacy lives on through his poignant cartoons, which skillfully exposed the truth within life's intricacies. RIP

Few places in Australia offer a separate camping area for cycle tourists; however, Queenstown in New Zealand does. I spent my time there with a young German man. The area included a shower, toilet, kitchen, and lounge area with TV. It’s nice to have that extra security of not having roads and cars driving around your campsite.
