DAD’S FATHER’S DAY GIFT?
Apparently… an entire day of junior football.

Two teams.
A bunch of VERY enthusiastic young footballers.
Plenty of laughs.
Plenty of running.
And a sideline full of dads thinking, “Yep… this is exactly how I wanted to spend Father’s Day.”

Our little legends headed down to the Northern Rivers Football Cup on Sunday for a brilliant day of football, teamwork, fun and making memories with their friends.

A huge thank you to Nathan Green and Pontus Lindstedt for stepping in at the last minute, taking the teams down and giving these kids the chance to enjoy such a great experience. Absolute champions.

And to the dads who spent Father’s Day cheering, clapping and providing expert tactical advice from the sideline…

ONE MORE STEP TO THE GRAND FINAL!
As well as our final game of the season to be played on our home field and what a team to do so.

Tonight, our U16 Div 2 boys take on Robina City FC at home in a huge preliminary final, with a Grand Final spot on the line!

These boys have given us so much to be proud of this season. Now let’s fill the sidelines and give them a home crowd to remember! Bring the family, wear your club colours and cheer them on from the first whistle to the last.

In their first season in Division 1, our women have fought through every challenge, stood by one another and earned their place in tonight’s Preliminary Final.
Now it’s time to leave everything on the field.

We are already incredibly proud of how far you have come, but your journey isn’t finished yet. Believe in yourselves, believe in each other and play with the courage, determination and heart that has carried you this far.

GRAND FINAL BOUND | U13 DIV 2 BOYS

Our final semi-final of the weekend delivered a result worth celebrating!

The U13 Division 2 boys produced an outstanding team performance on Saturday, securing a 3–0 victory over Magic United and officially securing their place in the Grand Final!

We are incredibly proud of the determination, teamwork and composure you showed when it mattered most. You have earned your place on that grand final field.

SEASON COMPLETE | U13 DIV 2 GIRLS

Saturday mornings result may not have gone our way, but no scoreline could ever capture how incredibly proud we are of these girls.

Congratulations to Tweed United on a well earned win and a great game played in the true spirit of football. We wish you all the very best for the remainder of the finals.

To our girls, what an incredible year you have had. From the first training session to the final whistle, we have watched your confidence, skills, friendships and belief in one another grow.

You haven’t simply played football this season, but you have become role models, showing the younger girls in our club that there is a place for them in this game and a pathway for them to follow.

We hope every one of you returns next year, ready to continue what you have started. Our dream is to see even more girls wearing the green, navy and pink, inspired by the example this team has set.

Thank you to Coach Lauren Kirkby , families and supporters who have stood behind these girls throughout the season. You have all helped create something truly special.

Hold your heads high, girls. This season may be over, but your story together is only just beginning. We cannot wait to see what comes next. 💚💙

SEMI-FINAL RESULT | U16 DIV 2

What a battle at Ormeau on Friday night! From the opening whistle to the final moments, it truly was anyone’s game. Our boys left everything on the field, with Ormeau narrowly taking the win 1–0. Congratulations to Ormeau team on the win.

But our finals journey is far from over!

This Friday, the boys return home to face Robina City in a head-to-head Preliminary Final, with a place in the Grand Final on the line.

With Grand Final places on the line, it’s set to be a brilliant afternoon of football. Our canteen and bar will be open, so come down, grab something to eat or drink and enjoy the action!
