⭐️QUALIFYING FINAL RESULTS⭐️

What a game for our U13 Netballers! The whole team played exceptionally today, and only just missed out on playing in extended time with a very late goal to the Demons.

And, what a turnout from our Burra cheer squad! Absolute Legends👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

⭐️THURSDAY NIGHT CHEFS⭐️

Over the past few weeks we have taken the opportunity to say a massive THANK YOU to our incredible Thursday night kitchen crews from Minyip - Gina, Ross, Zoe & Jenny and Murtoa - Marie & Meredith who turn up week after week and feed the whole Burra Family!

We’re so lucky to have such a wonderful team who get in the kitchen & cook up a delicious meal AND the best dessert selections! We couldn’t do Thursday nights without you!

⭐️ITS FINALS TIME!⭐️

Our U13 Netballers have earned themselves a double chance this finals series and we are so incredibly excited for them! Set your alarms Saturday Morning and get up to Beulah to cheer the girls on - it’s bound to be a cracking game!

Back it up Sunday and head on over to Warracknabeal where Leithy’s Legends have another crack at going deep into September, alongside the C Reserve Netballers who conveniently play after the Ressies!

It’s time to do what we do best Burras, let’s drench these ground in Blue, Black & White!

⭐️OUR FUTURE STARS⭐️

Watching the Moddies Netballers, U8 & U11 Footballers throughout the season has been fantastic. These kids have learned & developed so much throughout the year and it’s incredibly heartwarming to see!

A massive thank you to all the coaches involved in supporting our next generation of sports men & women. Thank you to all the parents, guardians & other family members who got your little legends to training nights, game days, Friday night netball, and filled in volunteer duty’s throughout the season - the club simply does not run without you.

We can’t wait to see everyone back in the Blue, Black & White in 2027🤩

Jayde is just one of many who play a vital part in our women’s footy program, Jayde has stepped into oversee the women’s footy department this season & has done a phenomenal job!

Jayde is always the first to put her hand to for any task around the club, including stepping in as ✨Water Girl✨ for the Senior Footy today!

BLUE RIBBON - SPIRIT OF SPORT AWARD

A huge congratulations to Ethan Maher and Marli Arnold who have both been presented with the Blue Ribbon Award today!

The Spirit of Sport Awards recognise young players who show what team sport is really about — skill, sportsmanship, fair play and respect for teammates, opponents and officials.

Each week, players earn points across all three categories, with the weekly winner presented with a Spirit of Sport Medal by a member of Victoria Police.
