Murrumbateman Baggy Blues Our team runs as a squad system, so players aren’t required to commit every weekend throughout the season (October to March).

The Murrumbateman Baggy Blues is a local cricket club founded by a group of passionate Murrumbateman residents to compete in the Friday night T20 Sweeney Cup and the Saturday 40-over Triggs Shield run by the Yass Valley Cricket Association. Our home ground is the Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds and we also play at nearby villages and on the turf wicket at Victoria Park in Yass. We proudly thank t

Alright Murrumbateman… it’s the FINAL game of the season for the mighty Murrumbateman Baggy Blues and we’ve got some serious questions that need answering… 👀🏏

Will Skipper Rob Farrell finally get his 💯?
Will Kris Milne send one screaming to the boundary (or at least past the infield)?
Will Fitzy actually bowl someone out?
And most importantly… will Chris Bruno take a catch with his hands… or his face? 😬😂

Another big weekend of cricket for the Baggy Blues, with a double header T20 Friday night and 40 Over on Vic Park turf Saturday. Many thought Scott Hall carrying his bat over the weekend would have been the highlight but Deep Billing with his top score of 43 and a catch takes the crown!

Cian Ebert againing bowling tight to return 3/16 off his 4 overs. A highlight for the Baggy Blues was father and son Phil & Ethan Seselja playing together for the Baggy Blues for the first time!
