Nominations are now open for the Rural City of Murray Bridge Local Legends Sports Awards 2026, celebrating the incredible people who keep sport thriving in our community.

In honour of Daniel ‘Happy' Gilmour

We invite everyone involved with MTCA cricket to attend a Junior or Senior match this Saturday, 28th of February and line up with the players to observe a minute silence.

All players and umpires are asked to wear back arm bands.

Match Review: Saturday 14th of February

Wanderers 10/168 def by Imperials 8/170.

After losing the toss the boys were sent in to bowl. Starting off strong with some good spells from Lukas and Henry who had wickets flowing and bowling tight lines. After drinks it was the Henry show, where he kept the pressure on picking up 5 for the match. Some handy wickets from James G and Daniel helped bowl wanderers out 168.

The boys were off to a flyer with the bat with Lukas and Ash holding down a great partnership with the boys being 1 wicket down for 100 at drinks. Lukas fell just after his 50 with Ash still in holding the fort down until he fell for 60. After a small collapse it was Henry and Kade who stood tall and got us over the line to knock over the top of the table.

Monarto 129 def by Imperials 5/130.

The toss was lost and the boys got sent in to bowl first. We saw some tight bowing from the openers, keeping the runs to a minimum. Late in the innings with hard work, Ben Pope took some crucial wickets to keep the score to a low total of 129.

After a shakey start Ash and Justin steadied the ship by putting on a handy partnership. Ash fell for a well made 40. After losing some quick wickets, Ben Pope and Lukas Wright finished the game with Lukas hitting the winning runs; healping the team over the line.

Pink Stumps Day 2026! 🏏

What a beautiful day it was for our annual Pink Stumps Day Charity match. We would like to state a massive thank you to all who made this day possible in one way or another, it was a big success!

The boys got off to a great start with the score being 2/30 at drinks. We saw tight bowling from the Hameister brothers, both picking up 3 wickets each! With some late game hitting, Mannum finished with a score of 121.

Jack and Ash steadied the batting with Ash falling just short on 47, some late order runs and a special 4* from Bradley got us over the line.
