Updated schedule for Murray Bridge. We're making sure leglocks are added in for Saturday either as the session or an extra technique after main training.

Kid classes at 11am. If there are people interested in a class for teenagers around 10 or 12+ years old let me know. I have time to squeeze in another saturday morning session if there is a enough interest.

A massive effort from the Team on the 1st of Feb at the Australian Grappling League. With only 7 of our adults competing and kids brining numbers up to just over 20, we still managed to maintain a win rate that got us 2nd overall.

Only one of the Murray Bridge kids competed but she did great for her first competition.

Adults managed to bring home plenty of gold and the Mount Barker kids had some great break throughs including another first-time gold medallist and taking wins from previously undefeated competitors.

Congrats team!!

Class is cancelled tonight. Everyone is welcome to come along to the Mount Barker gym for open mat at 10am though.

Classes are back to normal on Thursday.

Looking forward to starting the kids' classes in Murray Bridge this Saturday 11am at Total Fitness (17 HINDMARSH ROAD, Murray Bridge South Australia 5253).

The kids team based in Mount Barker had an amazing weekend earning the team gold medal. They showed some great Jiu-Jitsu and a few really demonstrated their ability to overcome adversity, which is an important part of our training.

The gym will be open at 10:45am for 11am start. If you're late just ring the door buzzer and we'll let you in.

Make sure the kids have water and are wearing appropriate clothes to train in.

Parents will have to stay for the initial part of the class, I'll be introducing myself and the other coaches and talking about the goals we train towards and my coaching style for the first 10 minutes. Then a little bit about gym rules and housekeeping before we get to training.

We're starting kids' classes in Murray Bridge.
Classes will start on November 9th, Saturday 11am.
The age range will be 6+ yrs. I know this excludes some of the kids who were interested but we'll look into splitting the age groups and including younger kids at a later stage if we can.
Classes will be No-gi (fight shorts and a rashie). Shorts and a t-shirt are fine to start with.
Class on the 9th and 16th will be free. After we will give a free trial class.

Toa is looking for expressions of interest in a Kids class for 11am Saturday.

We had the strongest kids' team in the state in 2023 at our Mount Barker HQ and they're only getting better this year!

Murray Bridge's wrestling piano teacher took silver in the heavy weight div and Tuesday's coach took silver at intermediate. He submitted all his opponents with sharp technique but lost the gold/silver match on points.

The kids and women from Mount Barker also had a great showing although we were a little light on numbers for this comp.
