💗 IT'S PINK ROUND GAME DAY! 💗

Our Murgon Mustangs A Grade side is ready to take the field this afternoon as we proudly support Pink Round.

Pink Round is about far more than rugby league. It's an opportunity to recognise those who have battled breast cancer, remember those we've lost, and support the families and friends who have walked that journey alongside them.

This round holds a special place in the hearts of the Murgon Mustangs, with members of our club family and Life Members having been impacted by breast cancer. Today, we proudly stand with them and everyone in our wider community who has been affected.

A sincere thank you to the Kingaroy Rugby League Club for hosting this important round and continuing to shine a light on such a worthy cause.

If you're heading to the game, wear your pink, cheer loud and get behind the boys as they take on Cherbourg.

Good luck to our A Grade team – play with pride, and let's make Pink Round a memorable one. 💙💛

We’re not sure some days if they’re cheering them on or stirring them up 😄, but we absolutely love seeing the relationships formed across age groups of our Junior Mustangs.

The friendships and support they show each other is something special to watch. From helping each other warm up, to running drills together, to being right there on the sidelines backing their mates, debriefing after games, there’s always a real sense of connection, encouragement, and fun.

It’s more than just footy - it’s kids growing up together, building confidence, and learning to look out for one another 🏉🐎

These moments are what make our club more than just football teams. It’s a community, and we’re proud to see our Junior Mustangs growing together. 🏉👏

🏉 Vale Peter Cavanagh 🏉

Today, players from across the South Burnett region came together as one team to train and pay their respects to Peter Cavanagh.

Representing the Murgon Mustangs at the upcoming Peter Cavanagh U43kg Carnival, these young players are continuing a tradition that has brought together children, families and communities through rugby league for many years.

Peter dedicated more than 50 years to grassroots rugby league and was an icon of the U43kg carnival division. Always proudly wearing the Central Downs colours, he played a significant role in the carnival and the opportunities it provided for generations of young footballers.

As our boys prepare to travel to Wattles Warriors for this year's carnival, we acknowledge Peter's contribution to the game and the legacy he leaves behind.

Congratulations to our South Burnett Eagle - Chloe Dennis who crossed codes this weekend and played for Wide Bay at State Champs for Rugby 7s Girls 15-16 years.
