Oftentimes, we seek love and connection in places where it isn’t available. Instead of letting go, our tendency is to try to fix it, understand it, or change ourselves in order to have what we want.

This only reinforces our own sense of lack, emptiness, and unworthiness—which are often the very reasons we became attracted to this particular person or situation to begin with.

Learning to recognise the signs of unavailability is an important first step in turning toward, and reclaiming, yourself.

It is then important to pay attention to what is actually available. Who gives you attention? Which projects nourish you? What situations reciprocate your level of attention, energy, and love, rather than depleting you?

Learning to follow what nourishes us often implies letting go, which can be painful. And yet, it can also be deeply rewarding.

When we learn to take in that which gives us love back, it often points us in the direction we need to go.

Nourish that which nourishes you back.

Projection prevents us from facing and healing our own wounds.

The more we blame the external world for our pain, the less opportunity we have to truly face our own shadows.

The process of becoming who we really are requires the integration of the most painful and unwanted aspects of ourselves. 💛

Many of us move through life from a place of lack.

A quiet sense that we are not enough, that we don’t have enough or that something is missing.

This feeling of insufficiency is often rooted in early experiences of disconnection - moments when we felt alone, unseen, or didn’t receive the affection, attention, or attunement we needed from our primary caregivers.

These experiences don’t simply become memories, they become imprints in the nervous system.

Because they were formed so early in life, we often don’t realise they’re shaping how we relate to ourselves and the world. Instead, they quietly express themselves through our behaviours.

Perhaps we constantly strive for more.
Struggle to feel financially secure, even when there is enough.
Find it difficult to create consistency in our work.
Or feel the need to control people and circumstances in order to feel safe.

The impulse is often to do more - to achieve more and/or to fix ourselves.

But beliefs rooted in insufficiency are not transformed through doing more, rather they begin to soften through reconnection.

Reconnecting with the body.
Cultivating safety in the nervous system.
Remembering what it feels like to belong to ourselves, to others, and to life.

From this place, we gradually discover that we are enough, just as we are. And that, in this moment, we already have enough to meet life with openness and trust.

As our inner relationship changes, our outer life often begins to reflect it. 💛

🧘🏼 Inquiry questions for reflection:

- Where in my life am I living from a place of lack or insufficiency?
- How does this show up in my life? What thoughts, emotions, or behaviours tend to arise?
- Where do I notice this in my body? What sensations are present?

Allow any insights to unfold naturally, without needing to force an answer.

Whatever you discover, see if you can meet it with kindness, compassion, and curiosity.

The Inner Rhythm of Being Retreat | 26 June – 1 July

I believe there is a natural intelligence within us that reveals itself when we slow down enough to listen.

This retreat is an invitation to step out of the busyness of everyday life and reconnect with the deeper rhythm of being through meditation, silence, mindful movement, and inquiry.

If your heart is longing for space, stillness, and a chance to come home to yourself, I’d love to welcome you.

All spiritual practices are pathways back to our true nature - they are rafts that lead us back to who we already are.

When held lightly, they can be profoundly helpful.

But when taken blindly as ultimate truths, or as rigid rules that we must ‘follow’ in order to awaken, they can become the very thing that takes us further away from ourselves.

It is important to remember that the most trustworthy source of guidance and truth is the immediacy of our present moment experience.

Only through direct contact with reality can we deeply know ourselves and unfold with reality, as reality. 💛

In this dualistic reality, it is easy to become caught in rigid views and opinions about what is happening in our lives and in the world.

Attachment to our views often creates further division and conflict, feeding the sense of separation that lies at the root of so much human suffering.

Perhaps real change begins when we learn to create a larger container, one that can hold different perspectives without immediately collapsing into certainty.

From there, something new has the possibility to emerge. 🪷💛

The body’s natural state is wholeness.

When something is off balance, it always lets us know.

If we can learn to stay with the discomfort long enough, it will reveal its next step forward — without the need to control, change, or manipulate experience.

This is at the core of the healing process: learning to trust the organicity of the body and surrender to its own way of finding its way back home. 💛

My next Tension and Trauma Release TRE® Workshop coming up tomorrow Saturday 20th Sept 2025 in Mona Vale, NSW.

TRE® is a wonderful method that supports the release of deeply held patterns of tension, stress and even trauma. Also, it supports deepening the connection with your body and mind, leading to a greater sense of presence, grounding and ease.

👉🏻 What is TRE?

TRE consist of six gentle exercises that are designed to stress the psoas muscle that reply purely on the body’s natural ability to trigger tremors. This releases muscular tension, calming down the nervous system. When this natural mechanism is activated in a safe environment, the body is encouraged to return back to a state of balance. This therapeutic tremoring helps the body release deep muscular patterns of stress, tension, and even trauma.

The TRE Workshops are a great opportunity for you to learn and experience the TRE® method within safe environment.

See details of the session below, booking link via events section.

📍Date: Saturday 20th Sept 2025
📍Location: 63 Bassett Street, Mona vale 2103
📍Time: 10:30-12:00pm
📍Cost: $45

I would love to see you there. Come relax and unwind with me.

Love
Renata
