📣 Reminder our AGM is tonight!

The Mudgee Athletics Club Annual General Meeting will be held:
📅 Monday, 11 May 2026
⏰ 6:00pm – 7:30pm
📍 Club Mudgee – Upstairs

All members are encouraged to attend. As part of the AGM, all committee positions will be declared vacant and elections will be conducted on the night.

Executive positions include:
President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Registrar.
We would also love to see some general committee members join and help with the weekly activities that make our club night successful.
This is a great opportunity to support the continued success of athletics in Mudgee.

Club Presentation Night – Tonight!

Presentations are still going ahead tonight at Walkers Oval from 5:00pm.

We’ll have a BBQ for the kids, so come along and help us celebrate the end of the season together.

Our Presentation Day is this Friday - 27th March at Walkers Oval.
Presentation formalities will occur from 5pm, followed with a sausage sandwich & drink for the whole family.

🏃‍♀️ That’s a wrap – NSW Junior State Championships 2026 🏃‍♂️

What a fantastic weekend for our Mudgee District Little Athletics Club athletes competing at the NSW Junior State Championships at Sydney Olympic Park.

Our small team of eight athletes represented Mudgee with pride, producing great performances and significant improvements across the season.

National Qualifiers

🥇 Mckayla Grobler
Women Shot Put (16s) – 1st – 14.58m
➡ Qualified for the Australian Junior Championships

🥉 Ania Cole
Women 2000m Steeplechase (16s) – 3rd – 7:33.44
➡ Qualified for the Australian Junior Championships

Quick update on our athletes from Day 2 of the Junior State Championships

Obiki Coghlan – 14th in the Triple Jump with 10.43m
Thomas Murray – 6th in the 3000m with 9:49, taking a huge 40-second PB
Ania Cole – 6th in the 3000m with 10:55

A fantastic effort from all three athletes competing on the state stage. Well done, Obiki, Thomas and Ania — Mudgee is proud of you all!

It's that time of year again, when we prepare to move perpetual awards on to the next lucky recipient . If you have a large perpetual trophy from last season at home, can you please bring it along tonight for collection 😄

Ania was the first of eight Mudgee athletes to compete at this weekend’s Junior State Athletics Championships at Sydney Olympic Park. She ran a fantastic race tonight, finishing 3rd and taking 10 seconds off her personal best in the 2000m steeplechase. A great start to the championships!

Good luck to the rest of our Mudgee team competing over the weekend. Go Mudgee!

State Championship 2026 – Entry Information for Athletes in the 16s and above age groups can direct enter via link below. Entries close Friday, 27 February.
