🚨 WE’RE HIRING! 🚨

Swan River Rowing Club is looking for an experienced and passionate Rowing Coach – Club & Pathway to join our coaching team in Perth, Western Australia. 🇦🇺🚣‍♂️

This is an exciting full-time opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth and development of our club, working alongside our Head Coach Mark B**r to support athletes from junior development through to pathway and high-performance levels.

🏅 What you’ll be involved in:
• Junior Development & Talent Identification
• Pathway & Scholarship athletes
• School & community engagement
• Club, State & national competition preparation
• Training camps & regattas
• On-water, land & S&C coaching

Founded in 1885, SRRC is one of Western Australia’s oldest and most respected rowing clubs, with a proud history of developing athletes through to national and international representation. We’re also a Rowing Australia & Rowing WA Pathway and High-Performance Partner, and were named Rowing Australia Club of the Year (2024) and Program of the Year (2025). 🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Swan River Rowing Club Book Launch. Your enthusiasm and generosity made it a truly special celebration of our club and its remarkable history.

A very special thank you to everyone who helped transform the clubhouse and create such a wonderful setting for the occasion.

And, most importantly, thank you to Mike Scott for the incredible dedication that went into compiling the book. In capturing the stories, people and milestones of SRRC, Mike has created something far more than a book — he has created a lasting legacy for our club and future generations of Swannies.

We are delighted to invite you of the upcoming Henley-style Garden Party celebrating the launch of the Swan River Rowing Club’s 140th Anniversary Commemorative Book.

This beautifully bound volume chronicles 140 years of rowing excellence, capturing the rich history, achievements, and evolution of the Swan River Rowing Club from its founding in 1885 through to 2025. It pays tribute to the people, crews, and community spirit that have shaped the club’s legacy and continue to inspire future generations of rowers. We are also excited to include reflections from members past and present, offering personal perspectives on how the Club has influenced their lives and contributed to the enduring SRRC story.

Join us as we honour this milestone and celebrate the enduring camaraderie and tradition of rowing on the Swan River.
