"I don't have time."
If you're a mum, I can almost guarantee you've said these words before.
And honestly... I get it.
Motherhood is busy. There are lunches to make, washing to fold, appointments to remember, little people who need you all day long.
Time is precious.
But I've noticed something when I chat with mums...
Sometimes it's not just a lack of time that's holding us back.
It's the feeling that everyone else's needs should come before our own.
That taking an hour for ourselves feels selfish.
That our health can wait until life "settles down."
The truth is, motherhood rarely slows down.
There will always be another load of washing, another activity, another reason to put yourself last.
Looking after yourself doesn't mean you're taking anything away from your family.
It means you're recognising that your health matters too. 🩵
I'd love to know...
