A huge thanks to all those who helped me set up this club 10 years ago, including the executive of the Endeavour Rowing Club, friends from Newcastle Outrigger Canoe Club, Newcastle Dragonhunters, ex-teaching colleagues, Melanie Cantwell from Dragonboats NSW, and community members who decided to give the sport a go, then helped form our first Board, established processes and procedures, raised money to buy our own boats and equipment, on and on. Maitland has a dragonboat club because of you!
