Ten years of Mornington Women’s Football. One team to define the era.
On Friday night, as part of our annual MVP Night, we proudly unveiled Mornington’s inaugural Women’s Team of the Decade, celebrating ten seasons since the club first fielded a women’s team in 2016.
Across that decade, 283 players represented the red, white and blue in three competitions the VWFL, SEWF and MPFNL. From those players, a selection panel comprising former coaches and assistant coaches chose 24 players and two coaches to represent the first decade of Mornington Women’s Football.

Thank you to our former coaches and assistant coaches who served on the selection panel and gave their time and knowledge to this important process.
A special mention also goes to Laura Noonan, who helped bring past players together for the evening and spoke wonderfully on behalf of the playing group, past and present.
To every player, coach, volunteer and supporter who has contributed to this program since 2016 thank you for being part of our history.
