AFLNSWACT AFL NSWACT is the state body that's responsible for the growth and development of Australian Football

AFL NSW/ACT is the governing body for Australian Rules football across NSW and the ACT; and is responsible for the growth of the AFL community and talent pool through the development of great infrastructure, quality environments, education, and advocacy. We work with local communities, schools, clubs and leagues to provide opportunities for everyone to experience Australia’s only indigenous game.

Programs include school and community based Auskick, AFL 9s, Youth Girls, Swans and GIANTS Cups, Indigenous and Multicultural talent academies, and NSW/ACT RAMS representative teams.

A massive congratulations to the 34(!) players from NSW/ACT named in the Allies squads for the 2026 Marsh AFL National Championships.

That’s 22 girls and 12 boys from across our region earning their spot on the national stage!!

An incredible moment for the players, families, coaches, and community clubs who have all played a part in getting them there.

Aussie Rules participation across New South Wales and the Australian Capital Territory continues to build in 2026 as the AFL prepares to offer mid-season entry for NAB AFL Auskick and NAB AFL Superkick this month.

👉 Mid-season entry allows for aspiring junior footballers to join their local club and play NAB AFL Auskick or NAB AFL Superkick mid-way through the current season.
