Dear Sensei Loh,
Wishing you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
I recently received my PhD and completed my doctorate. My work is on understanding the molecular underpinnings of cardiac disease and fibrosis.
I wanted to send you a message to personally thank you for the fundamentals you taught me as a young man. My family and I often talk about the lessons I learnt all those years ago in the dojo and I truly believe these were lessons I carried and still apply in my daily life.
Although I don’t see you everyday I felt it important to acknowledge your contribution to my career, life and this significant milestone in my life for myself and my family.
I hope to come and visit you sometime soon in the dojo. I hope you’re enjoying a well deserved break.

Sensei Loh here, and I am delighted to share some wonderful news with you. Next year marks a significant milestone for Sh**un Moonee Ponds as we celebrate our 30th year at our beloved location on 15A Puckle Street. Over the decades, we have had the honor of teaching thousands of children who have passed through our dojo's doors. It has been incredibly fulfilling to watch many of these kids grow from as young as 4 years old into responsible young adults with impressive careers, all while continuing to practice regularly at our dojo.

Our dedication to excellence has not gone unnoticed. We are proud to have been voted the best Dojo in Moonee Valley for children and to have earned a 5-star rating on Google for our martial arts training. As we look forward to the future, we are excited to announce that enrolment is now open for beginners aged 4 years and up for the year 2026.
