We wrapped up our Wednesday Night competition under the Cobra Dome last night and the $1200 cash winning prize went to Mitch Pepper,Annette McCormick and Paul Meyers (left to right in photo below with organiser Ryan Dixon on left)).
A well-deserved win by a side who played great bowls for six weeks and displayed a classy approach on and off the green. Special mention to Mark Petty who was in the side most of these six weeks. I hope you get your share of the prizemoney Mark!!!
The top four earned cash prizes and it was a very tight finish with the leaderboard seeing Paul Nichols, James Thompson and Ash O'Brien edged out by set margin to hold on to second place. Set margin was also the only factor for the third placed Stingray's side consisting of Brendan Watson, Craig Whatman and Michael Williams. One win behind these three sides was the well named Geriatrics team being Snags Clifford, Graham Everitt and Colin Watson. Great bowls by all finishing top four.

We are hosting another competition which has proven really popular beginning on the 19th of August. Get a team in and strike up some form for the upcoming Pennant season on our amazing surface at a really welcoming bowls venue. The flyer will be posted on this page today with details to enter.
