Than over to Vegas for some karting at skusa super nationals and back just in time for the 410 Australian sprintcar championship with Ewan Oliver

Before boarding a plane and heading to Tassie to stake our claim at the last state championships for the year with Cruz smith.

Pretty cool feeling heading out to Ballarat Kart Club and watching two drivers I’ve had a heavy involvement with across two very different chapters of my karting journey finish 1st and 2nd in Juniors. 🏆

🥇 Cruz Smith — I’ve had the pleasure of working with Cruz and watching him develop into a seriously fast, talented and consistently evolving driver. His progression has been awesome to watch.

🥈 Kurtis Polkinghorne — I worked closely with Kurtis for a number of years, from Cadet 9 through to Cadet 12. He was also part of the National Team I used to manage and was one of my favourite Cadet 9 drivers to work with. Watching him continue to develop over the years and now see him succeeding at this level is incredibly rewarding.

One of the coolest parts of travelling around the country is seeing so many of the drivers I’ve worked with over the years steadily develop into superior athletes and competitors.

It’s a pretty special feeling knowing you’ve played even a small part in their journey. 👊🏁

LJ Racing — Creating Drivers. Building Legacies.

This video is more than just racing highlights.

It’s years of early mornings, long nights, hard conversations, breakthrough moments, setbacks, victories, and relentless belief in young drivers chasing their dreams.

Every driver in this montage has played a part in the journey. Some arrived with confidence, some arrived searching for it, but every single one helped build what LJ Racing stands for today.

For me, driver development has never just been about lap times.
It’s about mindset. Character. Belief. Learning how to handle pressure, trust the process, and grow both on and off the track.

Seeing so many familiar faces and memories together reminds me exactly why I love doing this.

The trophies fade.
The memories don’t.
The legacy lives on through the people you help along the way.

Thank you to every driver, family, mechanic, supporter and team that has trusted me to be part of the journey over the years.

The countdown is over.
The work has been done.
Now it’s time to sharpen the final details before we roll into Nationals.

✅ Data review and driver feedback sessions

At LJ Racing we don’t just turn up and race.
Every training day is built around developing complete drivers mentally, physically and technically.

From track walks and video analysis, to detailed debriefs after every session, reaction drills with Blaze Pods, setup testing, race simulations and confidence building… every small detail matters when preparing for the highest level of karting in the country.

Nationals aren’t won by luck.
They’re built through preparation, discipline and belief long before the green flag drops.
