Balloons Over Mildura

Our Australian team are off to compete at the World Championships, after putting their skills to the test and getting valuable practice at Balloons Over Mildura!

We’re so proud to have played a small part in their journey and wish the whole team the very best of luck! 🏆

The time has arrived! The 2026 World Championships campaign is upon us and we are pumped to get into it.

This year we have 6 pilots in our combined Australian and Kiwi team ably supported by 26 crew members.

The team will be doing a couple of warm up events at the Croatian and Slovakian National Championships before hitting Poland and the world Championships in mid September.

The action starts in Croatia tomorrow and we wish all of our pilots and teams well.

How lucky were we to have you in Mildura for Balloons Over Mildura! Your team brought a truly unique experience to our skies, flying alongside more than 30 spectacular hot air balloons and helping create memories that will last a lifetime.

From the early morning starts to the long days behind the scenes, your hard work, professionalism and passion for ballooning never went unnoticed. We are so grateful for everything you did to help make this year’s event such a success.

To Kiff, Eddie, Patto and the entire Global Ballooning crew – thank you for your generosity, dedication and enthusiasm. It was an absolute pleasure having you as part of our event.

✏️ 🌟 COLOURING COMPETITION WINNERS 🌟 ✏️
Congratulations to all our budding Hot Air Balloon designers, who have created many colourful envelope designs, which have been on display in shop windows along the Mall, from 7th Street to 9th Street. A BIG Thank You to all the schools and teachers who encouraged and supported their students to enter this competition, along with the local scout group, and to the Mildura City Heart for their sponsorship. Prizes have been awarded for each year level from Prep to Grade 6, and will contain some ballooning items and a selection of art materials, along with a $25 voucher from Mildura City Heart. 🎈
