Congratulations to the Metung teams who took out the 2026 East Gippsland Titles over the weekend.

This is the third year in a row that Metung has won a flag. In 2024 they won Division 3 and last year won Division 2. To win both in the same year is a remarkable achievement.

Division 2 defeated a combined Newry/Heyfield team 3/2 with two games going to the 19th and 20th hole. Angie Duddridge was the Captain. Emily Derham, Kathy Cole, Kath Brymer, Karin Liedke were the other named players with Denise Toon playing two games as an emergency player.

Division 3 defeated Sale 3/2 which was a great effort as the final was played at Sale. The Captain was Alicon Bennie. Judith Maxwell, Kerrie Scott, Tina Clarke and Krystyna Bowers were the named players.
