Round 7 results against Souths 🏑 🥵

Our juniors played a very good game of hockey. The defence put up a strong fight clearning lots of potential goals. They had some close shots on goals 🤞 its their turn next week!

Our women played well against a strong Souths team. Max scored a great goal off an amazing short corner! Despite the score the ladies put up a strong fight displaying strong attacking pressure and solid defensive efforts throughout the game.

Our B graders played a good game, keeping the score nil all for the 1st quarter. Souths had a very strong side, and despite our best efforts, we struggled to win the ball back quickly enough throughout the game. A few attempts in the attacking D unfortunately just not our day. Special mention to our amazing goalie who made several excellent saves and prevented many more scoring chances.

Our men played a great fast -paced game of hockey! Souths had many attempts on goals but the amazing Seb showed us his incredible goal keeping skills, making some brillants saves and keeping the score 3 nil. A couple of cheeky green cards didn't stop the men fromplaying a strong attacking and defensive game!

Round 7 🏑 home against Souths ❤️🖤

Round 6 results against Corrigin 🏑
Although no wins we hit some new records: 5 green penalty cards, 2 injuries, a stroke and 2 bully's (not the mean kind)

Our juniors came back fighting after 3 goals against them in the 1st quarter. They navigated the tricky grass and trying to get the ball to move up the field. They played well and defended the ball to keep the score 5 nil.

Our women played well against a strong women's team. The ladies had some attempts on goals but it just wasn't our day. 4th quarter ended with a stroke which didn't quite work in Corrigins favour. The ladies held their own keeping the score 1 nil.

Our B graders put up a strong fight against a strong B grade side. A few attempts on goals with Charlotte (pocket rocket) scoring her 1st goal in the last 5 minutes.

It was our men's turn, with 4 penalty cards already issued our men didn't want to feel left out 🙊
The men put up a strong fight against a very strong Corrigin team.

Round 5 results 🏑 ❤️🖤

What a fabulous day on the turf!! All 4 teams played extremely well against strong KK Viper teams!

Our juniors played very well together, getting the ball up to our attacking D, unfortunately no goals but the kiddies worked so well together and did very well to keep the score at 3 nil.

Our women had a very tough game against a very fast and skilled Vipers team. Coach Todd changed some things up and it was great to see players playing different positions. Our ladies fought very hard keeping the score at 2 nil.

Our B graders played a fantastic game of hockey (lets not count the 1st quarter) even play throughout the whole game with Natarrly and Shauna scoring a goal each 👏👏

Our men played a bloody good game of hockey, fast paced and skilled. They finished with a fabulous win 👏👊

Round 4 results- although no wins derby day is still a fabulous day 🖤❤️💙🤍

Our juniors put up a mighty fight against a strong Burra side. They worked well together getting stronger each week.
BOG- Zeke Goosen

The A Grade derby game is always a good one — plenty of rivalry on the field but plenty of friendship too. Our women held off Burra for 2 quarters, with a few attempts on goals, the girls fought hard until the last whistle.

B Grade felt like we were playing chasey for the 1st 2 quarters, we made some small changes and the last 2 quarters were much better. Unfortunately no goals but still a good, hard game.

Our men showed us how it was done by scoring a goal off a wicked short corner. Another fast paced game, fighting hard until the final whistle.
