Attraction thrives on equality and mutual respect. The moment you step into a parenting role with your partner, the romance dies. Realising this shift is uncomfortable, but it’s often the quiet signal that it’s time to choose yourself.

You deserve a partner, not another person to raise. ❤️

Is your relationship running on fumes? ⛽️💔
Giving 100% effort to fix things is noble—you should fight for the person you love. But if every attempt at connection is met with rejection, distance, or a cold shoulder… you have to step back and ask the hard question:
How long can two people keep driving a car that has no fuel left?

29/07/2026

Whether the love faded over time, or you’re carrying all the love while they give you distance and dismissiveness in return—it leaves you feeling rejected, lonely, and constantly questioning yourself.
If you’ve been through this, how did you handle it? Drop your thoughts in the comments, you’re definitely not alone. 👇

29/07/2026

Leaving isn’t always about affairs or explosive fights—sometimes, the love just quietly runs out of gas. 💔
Can a lost spark be reignited? Yes, but ONLY if both people are trying. If you’re giving 100%, filling the tank, and carrying the whole relationship alone while raising a man-child… that’s not a partnership. That’s rejection.
You deserve peace, not a one-sided workload. 🎧 Listen to the full episode now on Spotify & YouTube: "Empty Tanks & Man-Children: Knowing When It's Over" on Unbroken With Yay.

When they couldn’t find 5 minutes for you while you were dating, but now that you’ve walked away, suddenly they have all the time in the world. 💀 The irony is, by completely ignoring my boundaries and being relentless, you’re just proving exactly why I had to leave. Thanks for confirming I made the right choice. ✌🏽

Stop waiting for them to change, to apologize, or to finally see your worth. True peace comes the moment you accept your ex exactly as they are—and put them exactly where they belong.

If they were disrespectful, unfaithful, or toxic, putting them where they belong might mean keeping them at a strict arm's length, or cutting them out of your life entirely. You get to decide who earns a spot in your circle. You don't owe anyone access to you, especially if it costs you your mental health. Accept the reality of who they chose to be, set your boundaries, and protect your peace.

Their behaviour was the explanation, their disrespect is the closure. You don’t need a final conversation to move on. 🕊️✨

02/07/2026

Stop waiting for your ex to sit down and give you "closure." The truth is, they are the last person who can give it to you. Here are 4 reasons why that final conversation will never give you the answers you need:
1️⃣ They’ll lie to protect your feelings. They’d rather give you a watered-down version of the truth than deal with the discomfort of your reaction.
2️⃣ They’ll gaslight you to protect their ego. If the truth makes them look bad, they’ll distort reality to make sure they still feel like the "good guy."
3️⃣ They’ll blame you to avoid accountability. It takes maturity to own your mistakes. Instead, they’ll weaponize your flaws so they can walk away guilt-free.
4️⃣ They are incapable of being unbiased. You can’t get an objective perspective from the person actively trying to separate from you.
Closure isn't an exit interview they grant you—it’s a decision you make for yourself. 🚪✨

When your ex starts rewriting history and dragging mutual friends into the drama, the urge to defend yourself is real. But you don't owe anyone "the tea," and you definitely don't have to justify yourself to onlookers looking for gossip. Engaging in high school level drama only drains you. If you genuinely want peace and want to move on, stop defending yourself to social friends who have absolutely nothing to do with the intricate realities of what went down. Let them talk—your silence is your power. 🤫✨
