Here are two more of our amazing committee members that you might see lurking around the fields and games 💚🖤

Theo Katsetas
Sponsorship Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: Theo works in close collaboration with our sponsors. He had the particularly intense task of coordinating and recruiting our sponsors for the new 26/27 jerseys. (We love our sponsors so we’d say he’s done a great job here!)

When/where you might see him: Theo is a Super League player and manager so you would be best to see him take the pitch on Saturday afternoons! He is known to lend a hand to the BBQ every now and then too.

Mary Vasilas
General Committee Member

Key Responsibilities: Mary is new to our committee this year and is passionate about our community and football. She is our club representative and coordinates our participation in the Western Sydney Wanderers Ambassador Program. She also supports lots of other activities in the club like ordering and collecting bread rolls for our BBQ on Saturday morning and then often staying to ground official for the day.

When/where you might see her: Most early morning Saturdays, you’ll find her at Bakers Delight and then at Annangrove. Mary is also a player for our All Age Women Division 1 team so you might see her training during the week or take the pitch herself Sunday afternoon.

This club is so grateful to have these outstanding volunteers (and dedicated players too) 💚🖤

Female Football Week Finale 💚🖤(… Only 1 Week Late)

For our final giveaway, we opened it to ALL of our female rangers; our players, coaches, managers, volunteers, Mums, Mother figures, and Grandmothers! As a part of entering the giveaway, they were all asked “What’s the best part of being a ranger?” and the responses just blew us all away. We loved reading them so much, we have included some here too for you all to see 💚🖤

Thank you as well again to our business partners for sponsoring the gifts - we couldn’t do it without you. Our winners:

At Box Hill Rangers, our club simply wouldn’t run without our incredible volunteers. From early field set-ups to the final whistle, so many people work behind the scenes to support our players and families.

Our canteen is more than food — it’s the heart of our community.

Our BBQ team, field set-up crews, coaches, managers, and ground officials all play a vital role each week.

A special shoutout to our committee members, whose dedication, leadership and countless hours are the backbone of our club.

It’s National Volunteers Week so who better to introduce than our Committee Member, Marley Conomy. She is the volunteer who volunteers to organise the volunteers 🤣🩵

Marley Conomy
Volunteers Coordinator and Events Coordinator

Key Responsibilities: Marley coordinates and oversees all volunteers in the club. She actually created the system we use to ensure volunteers are there from all families in our club and she makes all the rosters for every area. This allows for essential parts of game day ro run seemlessly; areas like Canteen, BBQ, Field Set Up, Ground Officials and more. Marley also organises and runs the most exciting events for Box Hill Rangers members, like Presentation Day!

When/where you might see her: You’ll mostly see her popping up on your WhatsApp to remind you of your BBQ shift or doing shoutouts for all our different volunteers and committee members.

This club is so grateful to have her, she is the volunteer of volunteers 💚🖤

Female Football Week (better late than never) continues with our Junior Female Player Giveaway 🎉💜

Rain has delayed us giving out these prizes but we are so thrilled to announce our winners. All of this is once again thanks to our amazing local business partners! These players are the future of female football, not just for our club, but in general. We are so glad to have such respectful, dedicated and honestly, hilarious young female players! They are full of passion for the game with personality to spare.

All of our Junior Female Players were automatically entered into a random giveaway with the chance to win prizes, here are the winners and their Prizes!

Different Socks, Same Game! 🧦⚽️

To bring Female Football Week to life, every female player at Box Hill Rangers has been rocking a pair of crazy socks on the field for the last two games - because while the socks might be different, the game is the same.

The idea behind the socks is simple, but important. Every player is different - different personalities, backgrounds, ages, experiences and stories. But every girl or woman who steps onto the field belongs in the game just as much as anyone else. The crazy socks were a fun way to celebrate individuality, while also highlighting that football is a game for everyone.

Here is a huge amount of photos showcasing both the female players in our club and their wacky odd socks. It’s been awesome to see a splash of colour and personality on every pitch!

We have loved this initiative and so have all our amazing players! We have just a few more posts to follow next week about some exciting things that have happened this week, stay tuned!!

What would we do without our Mums?!? 💜

Last weekend, at our Foxes + Boxes Mother’s Day and Female Football Week Celebration, we were able to run a giveaway for all Mothers, Grandmothers, and Mother Figures in attendance. Not only do these incredibly important women always give so much for their children/grandchildren that play, but on Sunday, they gave up part of their Mother’s Day so their daughters and granddaughters could play the game we all love! We thought, therefore, that it was only right to run this giveaway for all of the women there on Sunday from any and all clubs in attendance!

We had 146 entries and here are the lucky winners and their generously donated prizes:
1. Michelle from Box Hill Rangers received a Complimentary Mother’s Day photo shoot donated by BB Videography & Photography Sydney! 📸🖤
2. Uwaila from Kellyville Kolts Soccer Club received a $100 Rouse Hill Town Centre voucher donated by Maaz Goda Real Estate. 🛒🛍️💛
3. Kristy from Norwest Football Club received a $50 voucher for Harry’s Pizza and Skewers Riverstone. 🍕🧡

Female Football Week: Another day, another giveaway! 💝

We are so thrilled to have been able to run another giveaway for Female Football Week, this time for our Female Coaches and Managers!! Again, this is all thanks to our incredible local business partners. Our coaches and managers work week in, week out to ensure a safe, respectful and enjoyable environment for all our players. We are so grateful for their dedication in helping our players grow both on and off the field. Not to mention how many of them are also just super Mums!

All of our Female Coaches and Managers were automatically entered into a random giveaway with the chance to win, here are the winners and their prizes:
