I am here now until 4pm at the Yarck Hall.
For those who have been affected by the fires, please bring along your containers and l will fill them for your drinking water supplied by GV Water.
I’ve taken a photo of ways you can access water and to see if you are eligible for loads of water.
Ausnet is also here now if anyone is needing to talk to them.

It’s been a pretty stressful time for a lot of people around our area the last few days.
A lot of sad stories coming out of it all also.
A lot of my customers had filled up beforehand and were hopeful and so was l.
After checking in, not all faired so well and l really feel for them all.
Everyone is doing their bit and the community is out there helping in lots of ways and in these hard times you always see the good in people.
Last night l went in to offer assistance with filling some fire trucks and l met some top blokes from strike teams that have come down from NSW to help us in our time of need.
The urban crews from FRV did a great job also filling up through the night.
Thanks to everyone out there doing their bit, we are thinking of you all and hoping its all over very soon.

Apologies but the fire near the Paps is too close to home and Luke and l will be helping there so for anyone we were coming to today/tonight we won’t be doing deliveries for the moment and not sure when we’ll be back at it sorry. Thanks John

My niece Molly and brother-in-law Luke have been keeping the wheels of the Mack turning and Molly’s been getting some good action shots and apparently found the gold at the end of the rainbow 👍🏻 🤣

FROZEN PIPES??? A few of you have had trouble with frozen or burst pipes due to the frost ❄️
An easy way to avoid frozen pipes is to ensure your meter/pumps/taps are covered on nights of severe frost. A cardboard/foam box works well, as does an old blanket, towel or piece of carpet. If you do find your meter frozen, pour some warm water onto it (but not boiling water!). Once your house/roof cavity warms up it should help with the pipes in the roof too.
Stoke your fires and warm up while you wait and you might not actually be out of water just yet 🔥
