Growing up in Scotts Head on the Mid North Coast of NSW, at the age of 3 Brayden was pushed into his first wave by his dad and has never looked back. From as young as he can he has always been interested in surfboards and surfboard designs, always handling and looking at boards with admiration and wonder. He remember’s clearly wanting to rip the fibreglass off his first board and wanting to reshap

e it. He never did but the desire, passion and interest in surfboards has never left him. In 2008 he found himself asking some big questions as to what he really wanted to do with his life, knowing that it had to be something he was both interested in and passionate about. Over the next 2 years he spent countless hours researching and shaping as much as he possibly could making his own boards in a garage at Mermaid Beach on the Gold Coast. This hobby soon consumed him and he couldn’t have been more satisfied. Following this humble beginning Brayden worked with one of Australia’s best and world renound shapers Jason Rodd at JR Surfboards on the Gold Coast. JR’s expertise in design, attention to detail and sublime craftsmanship was exactly what he was searching for in a mentor. Over the next few years Brayden found surfers from all over Australia starting to approach him regarding his contemporary designs and shapes. It was during this time that the brand PerrySurfboards was born. With exceptional detail, modern designs and clean shapes combined with the world class finish of Core Vision Glass, PerrySurfboards has quickly established a reputation for high performance boards with excellent customer service. Brayden strives for perfection in the shaping of every board and would love the opportunity to shape for you.
