Great weekend for footy here in Airlie Beach for the North Queensland Country Carnival (NQCC). It features the best Under 15 boys from across the northern regions (including Cape York, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, and Capricornia). This year, I have the privilege and honour of being part of the Mackay Crows and coaching them along side Carl Teske.

U9 Mixed
U11 Mixed

2026 sees a new option with U9 Girls. Player's will have the ability to play girls only or mixed as well if they want to.

Action will start @ 5PM.
Auskick Play 5pm & 6pm
U9 Mixed 5pm & 7pm
U9 Girls 6pm
U11 Mixed 5:30pm & 6:30pm

Fixture to be released ASAP.

All rounds will be at Harrup Park and clubs will take turns each week hosting the night with a BBQ and non-alcoholic drinks available. This is a chance for clubs to raise funds so bring along your spare change and enjoy a BBQ dinner and watch the kids have some fun.

Incredible honour and privilege to be part of this year's ANZAC DAY match. Australian military has been a huge part of my family's history with my grandfather enlisted in WWII, Uncles to Vietnam, and Aunty recruited to the Army. These plus thousands of others that put their lives on the line to serve our country - my family thanks you! It was amazing to see so many people paying their respects, including my friends from the Seattle Grizzlies Australian Rules Football Club who came over especially for the occasion. Special thank you to and the (Melbourne Cricket Club) for accommodating us and making this such a special day!!
