💯🏆🐟 3RD GRADE T20 CHAMPIONS 🏆

A great end to what has been a awesome season for 3rd grade. Making 2 grand finals this season and making up for a narrow Poole cup defeat. Our Third Grade Boys have won the T20 premiership capping off an undefeated T20 Campaign.

Across all games throughout the season, played by all members of the 3rd grade squad, this win mean alot! Thank you to you all for the support of our club, Lets look forward to next season 💙 🏆🐟💯 UP THE FISH!

🏏 Dixon Homes T20 Shootout Semi Finals Update 🏏

Mackay Cricket advises that, due to current ground conditions, Harrup Park 3 is the only venue under consideration for semi final play for the Dixon Homes T20 Shootout on Friday night.

Great Barrier Reef Arena will not be used on Friday, as the surface requires additional time ahead of Saturday’s Grand Final.

As a result, the following matches are the only semi finals currently under consideration for Friday night:

1st Grade Semi Final
Walkerston v Norths
🕕 6:00pm
📍 Harrup Park 3
🏏 17 overs per side

2nd Grade Semi Final
Walkerston v Pinnacle
🕣 8:45pm
📍 Harrup Park 3
🏏 15 overs per side

The 2nd Grade 1st v 4th Semi Final will not proceed, with Brothers progressing directly to the Grand Final as the 1st placed team.

A final decision on Friday night play will be made by 11:00am on Friday 13 March, subject to weather and ground conditions.

A big day of local cricket is currently scheduled for Saturday 14 March 2026 at the Great Barrier Reef Arena, with the Dixon Homes T20 Shootout Finals Day set to feature action across all three grades.

🔥 2nd Grade Semi Finals – 2:30pm

After a challenging period of wet weather, all matches remain subject to conditions improving during the week. Mackay Cricket will continue to assess the grounds closely and provide further updates as soon as possible.

🏏 DIXON HOMES 3RD GRADE T20 SHOOTOUT – MINOR PREMIERS 2025/26 🏏

Congratulations to Brothers Mackay Cricket Club on being crowned the Dixon Homes 3rd Grade T20 Shootout Minor Premiers for the 2025/26 season.

The second half of the season proved to be a challenging one with the weather playing a major role across the competition. Despite the stop-start run of games, Brothers showed strong form whenever they took the field, playing five matches and winning all five, while also experiencing five washouts throughout the T20 season.

With the Semi Finals unfortunately washed out, Brothers progress directly through to their second Grand Final appearance in the 2025/26 season.

🏏 DIXON HOMES 2ND GRADE T20 SHOOTOUT – MINOR PREMIERS 2025/26 🏏

Congratulations to Brothers Mackay Cricket Club on securing the Dixon Homes 2nd Grade T20 Shootout Minor Premiership for the 2025/26 season.

In what has been a heavily weather-affected season, every run and every performance proved important. With six washouts throughout the competition, teams had limited opportunities to build momentum, making strong performances in the games that were played even more valuable.

Brothers finished the season on top of the ladder with 36 points, with Net Run Rate proving decisive in the final standings. Brothers recorded an impressive NRR of 2.893, narrowly finishing ahead of Walkerston Cricket Club, who concluded the season with an NRR of 2.609.

The MCA has mad ethe decision to abandon the Semi Final vs walkerston today.

Congratulations to the whole 3rd grade squad on their impressive season!! Making 2 grand finals this season. Lets go one better next weekend and win that T20 shootout! 🏏📢💯
