Last night we attended the Carrick Speedway Drivers Association awards night.
Well done to Jake and team on putting together a great event.

A few photos from our latest attempt at racing in Victoria 😂

Despite trying to race at two different tracks this weekend, we were unfortunatey washed out again ☔️

With Simpson cancelled, we drove a couple of hours up the road to Western Speedway Hamilton to support the Victorian Junior Sedan title.

We made it through one heat before persistent rain ended our nights racing.
Canteen chips and gravy were 10/10!

Hats off to the volunteers and crew that run Hamilton Speedway. I have never seen a track try so hard to keep a meeting running in tricky weather conditions.

Massive thanks to Wilson’s for their hospitality and offering us their hoist to change diffs, a luxury that Dad and I have never had before 😂

Unfortunately the weather won on Saturday night and we weren’t able to turn any laps at Redline Raceway as planned due to persistent rain.

Instead, we decided to venture up the road and support a few Tasmanian’s racing at Premier Speedway, Warrnambool.

What an unreal facility, definitely lived up to the hype and the chips and gravy were 👌🏻

You get a teddy bear for making the a-main of a title in Victoria! 🧸😂

We had a bit of a shocker racing wise 😂, but it was good to catch up with a few friends we hadn’t seen in a while!

We qualified for the final in 11th place, but I really struggled to make any sort of pace and dropped back to finish 15th! Whatever was required for that track, we definitely didn’t have 😅

Tas title bound!

Massive shout out to Thong Hammond for offering us his chariot “The Pig 2.0” to compete in this years Tasmanian title!

We have no tools, no spares and no expectations for the night but are just stoked to be able to race! 🏁

We’ll have stubby holders, posters, stickers and kids packs with us for pit walk if we get to the track in time 😂

South Australia 5! 🏁

Unreal way to end our time at Murray Bridge Speedway!

We qualified out of 15th position with a 3rd, 1st and 7th in the heats. Managed to work our way through the field to finish 5th after the 35 lap final!

The last time I raced here in the Junior Sedan we blew a gearbox early in the weekend and lost a wheel in the b-main, so fair to say it has been a lot kinder to us this time round!

Can’t thank everyone that helped during our time in South Australia: Mum and Dad, Melissa, Joanne, Aleta, Braiden, Team Dickenson Racing, Campbell Racing & Terri for keeping me “hydrated” after racing.

I’d also like to thank those who came up to say hello and everyone that has messaged in the last couple of weeks. I’m hopeless at replying at the best of times but really appreciate all the messages of support.
