Grovedale Little Athletics Grovedale Little Athletics Club 🏃‍♂️🖤💛 Welcome to the Grovedale Little Athletics Club.

The Club is one of nine clubs competing in the Geelong Little Athletics Centre competition. Membership is open to children from five to fifteen, with most members coming from the Grovedale, Waurn Ponds, Torquay, Jan Juc and Anglesea areas. All children compete for fun, fitness and enjoyment and are encouraged to participate in events in a positive manner, regardless of their athletic capability.

What a HUGE day for Grovedale LAC athletes! 💙💛
On Tuesday many of our athletes competed at the Bellarine Primary Track & Field Championships, representing their schools and competing in their respective age groups and we couldn't be prouder of the results!

🔥 THREE DIVISIONAL RECORDS! 🔥
Xavier Moore — Shot Put 9.52m
Arnold Tyler — 800m 2.35.55
Charlotte Hudson — Long Jump 4.26m
Three incredible performances that will now go into the record books! 👏

And there were plenty more fantastic results across the day:

Geelong Little Athletics is holding a Come & Try Day at Landy Field on Saturday 19th September.
This will be a relaxed, fun morning where kids can have a go at some of the events, meet our clubs and athletes, and get a feel for Little Aths — without the pressure of competition or results. 🙌

🏃‍♂️🔥 WHAT AN ACHIEVEMENT, ARNIE! 🔥🏃‍♂️

Can you believe it?!

Arnie has absolutely smashed it at the Australian Cross Country Championships, finishing an incredible 8th place in the Under 11 Boys! 🇦🇺👏

And if that wasn’t impressive enough, Arnie also helped bring home 🥉 3rd place for Team Vic!

It was a wet, muddy and seriously tough course, but Arnie dug deep, pushed through and gave it everything he had. 💪🌧️🏃‍♂️

What an incredible achievement and something he should be so, so proud of!

Congratulations, Arnie! You are a superstar!
