PRESIDENT'S POST MATCH REPORT
Lennox Saints AFC – Bronze Playoff
Lennox Saints 6.4.40 were defeated by Nimbin Demons 8.4.52
We came up short against a determined and deserving Nimbin Demons outfit in Saturday's Bronze Playoff.
While the scoreboard didn't fall our way, I couldn't be prouder of the effort our boys produced. They dug deep from the first bounce until the final siren, never stopped competing, and represented our club with courage and determination.
Like every club before us, we'll lick our wounds, learn from the experience, regroup, and come back even more determined.
One thing I can promise our members and supporters is this: the Lennox Saints are winning in so many other ways.
Behind the scenes, the mateship is real, we're having fantastic conversations with Council, our supporter base continues to grow, more volunteers are putting their hands up, and more people are falling in love with what this club stands for. Lennox Head is a community football club and it is exciting what we could achieve for our village into the future, maybe juniors and auskick, maybe womens team? We have AFL 9s about to begin, the touch footy boys are mustering, AFL finals looming, ladies day in the planning, council progress news, and presentation night, so jump on board and let's see what we can do.
Award Winners
🍺 President's Best on Ground Mug – Jordan Oakes
Since joining the Saints, Jordan has been an outstanding addition to our side. His versatility, composure and ability to read the football make him look like a seasoned veteran. A thoroughly deserved winner.
🍹 Seagrass Juice Rising Star – Nick Wells
Nick is one of our first ever players and continues to impress with his development and has an exciting future ahead of him in Saints colours.
💈 Hairy's 1% Award – Scott Kingston-Mayne
This award recognises the little things that build great clubs, and nobody embodies that better than Scotty. This season marks his final year with the Saints, as he heads back to Adelaide and we thank him sincerely for helping build this club from the ground up. From his commitment on and off the field to leading every team song with his famous "Knock knock… Who's there?" routine, Scotty has given this club incredible character and heart. We will miss you Scotty and you'll always be a Sainter.
🩲 Rear Ends Most Determined Award – Harris Lake
Harris is outstanding each time he hits the paddock, resilience, dedication, persistence and never giving in. His work around each contest and ruck work is a sight to behold. At times tapping the ball to almost cetner half forward from the Ruck.
🍕 Lennox Pizza Best Moment Award – Tim Van Berkel
Berks snagged another goal to add to his tally and, in doing so, potentially bringing us another step closer to one day seeing permanent goal posts standing proudly in Lennox Head.
🧖♂️ SISU Coach's Award – Alex Grant - Alex only started playing football last season, and his improvement has been remarkable. His willingness to learn, his commitment to the team and his 100% effort every week have seen him develop into a terrific young footballer with an enormous future.

We'll return next season bigger, better and stronger. We'll have greater depth, an even stronger culture, and an even deeper sense of pride every time we pull on the green, white and black to represent our town.
Finally, don't forget our Presentation Night on 15 August at Club Lennox, where we'll celebrate the season together and recognise all of our club award winners.
