🔒 The Tight Five – MIA Warriors
1. Loosehead Prop – Alfred Simeti
Built for the dark arts. Alfred anchors the left side of the scrum with power and patience, turning opposition tightheads into spectators. Strong carries, heavy cleanouts, and a habit of leaving blokes on the wrong side of collisions. Mud Crabs loose side? Long afternoon incoming.
2. Ho**er & Co-Captain – Matthew Senes
The glue of the pack and the bloke steering the ship. Dead-eye darts at lineout time, ruthless at the breakdown, and never shy of leading from the front. If there’s a ruck to be cleaned or a maul to be driven, Senes is already there — usually barking orders while he’s at it.
3. Tighthead Prop – Tamaki Kohere
The cornerstone. When Tamaki locks in on the tighthead side, scrums don’t move — unless it’s backwards… for the Mud Crabs. Strong as an oak tree and just as hard to shift, he’s here to collapse dreams and force scrum resets until the referee gets the hint.
4. Lock & Co-Captain – Eugen Kohere
The enforcer in the engine room. Lineout general, maul driver, and serial ruck disruptor. Eugen brings height, power, and a nasty streak that Mud Crabs forwards will feel every time they try to carry near him. If there’s a jersey to grab, it’s probably already in his hands.
5. Lock – Jack Clark
All work, no backwards steps. Jack lives in the tight exchanges — hitting rucks, folding around corners, and turning mauls into slow-motion nightmares. Not flashy, just brutally effective… the kind of bloke you hate playing against but love having beside you.
As a unit
This tight five isn’t here for pleasantries. They’re here to:
• Own the scrum
• Steal the lineout
• Win every collision
Mud Crabs will be scrummaging under pressure, throwing lineouts in panic, and wondering why the middle of the park suddenly feels so hostile.
Welcome to Warriors country. Welcome to the trenches.⚔️🩵🤍
