OUR FIRST SEASON DONE AND DUSTED

Jarrod and the team headed off to Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway last night for the last round of the Wingless Sprints Tasmania season.

Starting off pole for the first heat Jarrod would end up sitting in behind Danny Whitchurch after turn 1 & 2 . But come the start of the 3rd lap that’s where out season would send unfortunately hanging from the fence. Contact made with Ricky Tarrant in a racing deal would see Jarrod flip 6 times before ending up hanging from the fence.

With a broken car and a sore driver that would see the end of our first season as a team. We have had some good and bad moments but it’s been a great first season.

It’s race weekend at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway for DOZIE Motorsports . Tonight a round of the Fluidline north track series and tomorrow night the SPEAK UP Stay ChatTY charity dash where all drives prize money plus raised money will go to the fight against mental health.
With a small car count we will be looking to make the most of it and keep her up the pointy end as much as we can.
The team can’t thank all our sponsors for sticking by us as we build and learn as a team and especially our loyal crew Ryan Dave and Chris that show up every week busting there ass to help us.

STATE TITLE DONE AND DUSTED

After a busy few weeks racing and then helping sort and build a car for our mate and Current Victoria 1 Brad Warren we can say we have finshed our first state title.

With 3 heats and a 25 lap feature Jarrod would start the feature 12th and end up finishing 11th in the feature.

It was a great night both on and off the track for the team with our half sister car we have with the T15 team of Ricky and Andy Tarrant, We had Victorian ace Brad Warren behind the wheel.

After 1 head dnf due to steering box failure and then 6 and 2 In his other heats he would start the feature from 10th and finish a soild 3rd.

None of this would be possible without to hard work and support of Andy Tarrant he has been next level getting this deal together.

Another big night coming up at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway. The DOZIE Motorsports team and driver Jarrod Wheatley are starting get on top of things.
This week we have some stiffer than normal competition with Aus1 in the house as well as a fast young gun from Sydney.

With the state title next weekend in Hobart we will be looking for a good run tonight and keep the ca straight ready to have a crack next weekends

Can Martin and Shute up stage the locals.

This weekends action sees us return to Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway for round 3 of the Fluidline north track series and round 9 of the Webster Trucks state wide series.

With the title next week we have the A1 Tyson Martin in the house getting some valuable laps on tassie soil and scouting out the local talent. Fly in fly out driver Branden Shute will be looking for a good result for Wilson Motorsport while Luke is at a wedding.

We can’t count out our local talent tho, Smith, Redpath, Whitchurch, Tarrant, Hall just to name a few ready to make it hard for the mainlanders.

It’s been a minute but we have been extremely busy both racing and working.

Racing the last 3 weekends and another 2 come to come including our state title jarrod has been tiring plenty of laps gaining valuable seat time which has been showing on track with some great performances. Although not all the results are great but we are consistently leading improving and finishing with a straight car.

We head to Carrick this week for a round of the Webster trucks statewide series and FLUIDLINE north track champion ship. We will have the current Australian champion Tyson Martin the the house so we will be eager to watch and learn from the best.

Solid night for the T3

Jarod and the team headed off last night to Latrobe Speedway - Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway to support the super sedans Grand Prix

It was a night of learning for both Jarrod and the crew, with a very slic track something Jarrod hadn’t experienced yet, well has now. Learning where to and not to run the car how much throttle to use how smith you need to be we strung 2 heats and a final together finishing 9th out of 16 cars.

The crew has a busy night trying to find a good set up in the car and the boys now have a reasonable base for the slick.

After burning 3 tyres off for the night the crew will be busy prepping the car and going through the tyre bank to have some good rubber for a couple nights racing in Hobart this weekend coming.

Things may of been a bit quiet on here but we have been busy prepping the car for tomorrow nights racing at Latrobe Speedway - Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway.

With 16 of tassies best showing up we will need to be on our game. With some confidence after a solid 4th finishing at last meeting at Hobart jarrod and the team are looking forward to hitting the track tomorrow night.

This will be a good test for Jarrod being a rookie and only having to deal with small car counts so far this season. With a busy 6 weeks ahead including 2 nights next week in Hobart and the title early next month we are keen to get some good laps and data to Finsh off the season strong.

The team packed up and headed south to hobart yesterday for round 2 of the DDM Civil track series and round 4 of the Webster Trucks Statewide series.

Jarrod was thrown in the deep end and put in the grid draws for the first time. And to top that off Jarrod pulled out pull 1 which gave him pole in the first heat.

Then the rain came, with a lot of work they got the track back and we went racing. Holding his own leading for the first 4 and abit laps on a very very greasy track before getting passed ultimately finishing 3rd for the heat.

That put Jarrod off the rear for the second heat where he finished 7th.

This put us out of 5th for the final. With 2nd place starter pulling out that moved us up to 4th for the start where we would Finsh the final.

Was a great night for everyone involved with this little team.

FINALLY

Jarrod and the boys have finally strung a full night together last night at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway for the boxing night blitz.

After motor dramas for the start of the season the boys got ontop it and got down to business turning some laps.

Was great to have family friends and sponsors there to finally see the T3 sling some clay.

After a family breakie and wash dat the focus now heads to getting ready to heat to Hobart next weekend.
