‘It just wasn’t our night’ 👎

Sadly the T55 race car was plagued with fuel issues in all 3 races on Saturday night. 😞
Battling low power & motor issues which saw us on the infield more times than not.
A BIG thank you to my race team & fellow competitors who came to assist & support us throughout the night. We certainly felt the love!!
And a big congratulations to ‘B’ on the win 🏆

But HOW COOL was it to see Jack Redpath strap in a car for his first ever run with us. 🤩
It was great to have Jack, Adrian & family in the pits & ontrack. A big welcome to the Tasmanian Formula 500 Club 👏
We will regroup, work hard & be back ontrack next Saturday at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway for our final run of the season (28th)

NEW JUNIOR DRIVER announcement🚨

TONIGHT we see another junior car ontrack to go racing with us AutoKlene Hobart Raceway👏

I am super excited to see good racing friend ‘Jack Redpath’ strap in the T73 junior lease car tonight for his first run.
Son of sprint car champion ‘Adrian’, Jack & his family have the full support of the Tasmanian Formula 500 Club club & we cannot wait to see them ontrack!!

My home track Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway was our racetrack last night as the juniors lined up for glory!!

A tough & slightly frustrating night for our family race team as we battled chain issues in both heats 1 & 2 and were sadly unable to start/finish these races 😔 🔧

BUT THATS RACING…. 🙃🏁 🔧

I gathered myself together knowing I had a lot of work to do & started at the rear of field for the final.

RESULTS
🔥 Heat 1 - DNF
🔥 Heat 2 - DNF
🏁 Final - Last ➡️ 2nd 🥈

I need to give a BIG shoutout to my crew for working tirelessly on the race car all night, also many members of our great club that came to assist 🔧 .

🏁LATROBE 17/18th Nov -Results

A BIG double nighter round that saw the 51st running of the Super sedan Grand Prix Latrobe Speedway - Gulf Western & Independent Oils Raceway 🏆
2 nights of racing for our Tasmanian Formula 500 Club club in front of a packed crowd.

Friday night i strapped into my junior formula 500 race car for our FIRST NIGHT of racing on the Big stage!!
It was a great learning experience for me in many ways as I negotiated how best to run on a slick track whilst trying to be fast & smooth.
I managed to finish 3rd behind my great racing mates ‘Coop’ & ‘B’… Well done legends 👊 💫

Saturday night I was on the spanners for dad. 🔧
Helping the team learn new car setups & making sure dad was comfortable behind the wheel. Super happy to see him finish 4th in the feature 👏 🤩

Overall it was a great weekend for our family Motorsport team. Learning, hanging with race mates & doing what we love!!
We hope everyone in the crowd enjoyed the show!

Another successful night for our team (& club) last night!! 🏁👏👏

🏁 JUNIOR FORMULA 500s – CARRICK SPEEDWAY WRAP UP 🏁

What a night for our juniors at Cranes Combined Carrick Speedway! It was awesome to watch every single one of them improve lap after lap exactly what these demo nights are all about.

⭐ Driver of the Night – Brookelyn!
Massive congratulations to Brookelyn, who absolutely earned Driver of the Night. She jumped effortlessly between her junior sedan and the junior 500, adapting like a pro each time she hit the track. Such a huge effort and well deserved!

😎 Liam – Cool, Calm & Consistent
Liam was his usual cool, calm, and collected self. He really zoned in on his lines tonight, showing maturity beyond his years. Smooth and steady improvements every run!

🔥 Cooper – Found the Loud Pedal!
Cooper well and truly found the loud pedal in the third run of the night, pushing himself into the 16-second range and securing the Personal Best Award! A ripper effort, and great to see him digging deep and progressing each time he hit the clay.

👑 Miss QuickTime – Phoebe Roberts
And our little lady, the “baby” of the juniors, did it again! Miss QuickTime herself, Phoebe Roberts, laid down a seriously impressive low 16s lap time. She continues to show just how quick and fearless she is behind the wheel.

💙 A huge shout-out to the senior drivers and committee members who turned up and backed our juniors tonight. Your support, guidance, and presence make all the difference.

These kids are the future of our sport — and nights like tonight show just how bright that future is! 🏎💨
