Well we know it’s been awhile since Yarrawonga but better late than never I suppose.
This is the biggest meeting our team tries to attend every season, there is just something about racing at Yarrawonga with the long history the venue has.
Our team that weekend consisted of
Kym, Kim, Andy, Julie, Brad Nankervis, Grant Rollason and his brother Jason from New Zealand. Andy and Julie making it there Wednesday and Kym and Kim getting there Thursday night for setup and practise on Friday. After setting up and getting scrutinised the weather wasn’t in our favour to get some much needed practice for setup of the boat after our changes since running at Eppalock in January and the river at Berri a few earlier.
Our race results over the weekend were
Race 1 - 4th
Race 2 - 2nd
Race 3 - 2nd
Race 4 - DNS
Race 5 - 1st
Overall weekend we came 2nd plance
Overall was a great weekend getting better with the boat setup, we still got a ways to go but always moving forward with setting up this hull.
Thanks to all the Volunteers that helped over the massive weekend and to the host Club the Victorian Speedboat Club on a successful weekend of racing again.
