What a season for our Kyabram Junior Bombers U16s! 🏆🏉

From the first game right through to the Grand Final, this group showed incredible teamwork, determination and belief. They worked hard for each other, backed each other in and never stopped pushing towards their goal.

And what a reward for all that effort — PREMIERS! 🏆🎉

A huge congratulations to every player on an outstanding achievement. You should all be incredibly proud of what you have accomplished and the way you represented the Kyabram Junior Bombers throughout the season.

A massive thank you to Coach Paulo for your leadership, dedication and commitment to the team. Your guidance and support played a huge part in making this such a successful season. 👏

And of course, a big thank you to team manager Jackie for everything you have done behind the scenes to keep the team organised and supported all season. It’s very much appreciated! 🙌

A special shoutout to Max Stockdale who also won the AFL Goulburn Murray's league U16 Best & Fairest on Sunday! Superstar!

⚫️🔴🏆 U14 PRESENTATION NIGHT 🏆🔴⚫️

It might not have been the season full of wins our U14's had hoped for, but what these boys have shown week after week has been pretty special. They’ve turned up, stuck together, supported each other and kept smiling, no matter what was on the scoreboard. 💪❤️

The way they have continued to stay positive, encourage their teammates and give it their all is something they should be really proud of. That’s what being part of a team is all about! 🙌

A massive thank you to Coach Rory Young for everything you have done for the boys this season. Your encouragement, patience and commitment have been huge.

A big shout-out to Sheppo and Howie for all your help throughout the year, we really appreciate everything you’ve put in!

And of course, a huge thank you to our team managers Jac and Jase for keeping everything running behind the scenes and looking after the team all season.

To our U14 boys, hold your heads high! You’ve shown great character, resilience and team spirit all season, and we couldn’t be prouder of you.

Here’s to a great bunch of boys, plenty of laughs, and a season full of memories! 🔴⚫️

🔴⚫️🏆2026 PREMIERS!!🏆⚫️🔴

What a way to finish the year, the Under 16’s are Premiers!

With Sammy Bruhn jumping out of his skin before the game we should have known we were into for a big day. But it certainly didn’t come easily.

After some nervous early possessions leading to some uncharacteristic mistakes, things looked shaky until Kade Starling made the pocket his own, banging home the first goal of the game from hard up on the boundary. Check side if you don’t mind!
We led by 1 point at quarter time.

The 2nd quarter was a high scoring affair with the Swans having the better of us. Kade snagged another goal thanks to a 100m penalty while Peko was amongst the action too, scoring a classy snap on the back of Max’s typically hard work.
Sam Bruhn was now warming into the game. A handy running goal from 50 meters out showed he meant business but his pressure cooker snap from 40 m out put us back in to the lead briefly. It was enthralling to watch.

The third quarter saw Hedgey running from end to end with pace and feeding the forward line. While the backline led by Xav, Rhys and Nicho was rebounding continual Swans attack. Sammy Stokes and Billy Isaac were breaking the lines and the packs with lots of hard work, while Archie’s hands were vice like in the marking contests.

Going into the last quarter we needed something special, and it started with some clever roving from Ethan, morphing into a pin point pass to man of the moment, Sammy Bruhn.

Jonty and Tyrone were regularly dominating the wings. Tyrone’s hard run and delivery along with Jonty’s elusive space and skills meant plenty of opportunities up forward.

But it was Max who iced the game with a miracle drop punt from deep in the pocket. It was enough for the boys to hang on to the lead, and the win!

Shepp Swans 10.5.65

It was a huge team effort for the win, with each and every player playing their role on the day.

U15 PIONEERS SQUAD SELECTION 🏉

A massive congratulations to our very own Archie Sheppard & Billy Isaac on their selection in the Bendigo Pioneers U15 V/Line Cup squad! 👏

The V/Line Cup carnival will be held in Gippsland from 21–23rd September, with the boys set to represent the Bendigo Pioneers against some of the best young talent from across Victoria.

What an incredible way for our Kyabram Junior Bombers U16s to finish the season! ❤️🖤

The boys put it all on the line and walked away as Grand Final Premiers after a fantastic team performance. Their hard work, commitment and determination throughout the season has certainly paid off!

A huge congratulations to Sam Bruhn, who was named Best on Ground in the Grand Final and also received the AFL Victoria Medal — a fantastic achievement and one to be incredibly proud of! 🏅

Well done to all the players, coaches, volunteers and families for an amazing season of football.
